Especially in the last episode. He told Jeanette in 1993 that she had a pretty smile, and the way he was looking at her... he already liked her at least a little

@@ashleynichole744 I was also thinking he kind of was struck by her when they were in "mall jail." He was still a naturally sweet character then, but I think he just found himself in a position of really caring about the girl he was with but thinking of Jeanette. She was considered a nobody but he still noticed her, and commented on her smile after they'd only briefly and truly met.

Guys do you think that Jamie hit Jeanette because they might have had sex at Martin Harris’ house and Kate was actually in the basement.? And do you’ll think that Jamie was trying to hurt Jeanette again? Because when Ben was trying to hold him back he was trying to charge at her again.

*Disclaimer* not supporting Jamie’s actions but it was a state of anger and betrayal bc at that time he thought Jeanette was the reason why Kate went missing if you watched the entire season he did show remorse for his actions and owed up to what he did some people wouldn’t have done that ONCE AGAIN I don’t condone violence from either parties but it was understandable why he did what he did at the moment

_SPOILERS_ _FOR_ _THE_ _LAST_ _EPISODE_ _SO_ _DON'T_ _READ_ _IF_ _YOU_ _DON'T_ _WANT_ _THEM._ They were so sweet together but it went downhill so fast, it was one of my biggest losses. I really felt like I got to have them back when they got back together until we found of Jeanette DID know about Kate being kidnapped. Some part of me wants believe that if Jeanette had told someone, Jaime would have eventually come back to her on his own. First off, Kate was already over him before they officially broke up, but she also just wasn't the same person. Secondly, I think he just had more in common with Jeanette and they were very sweet together; he seemed to be just as pulled to her after the "mall jail" incident as he was when he actually was in love with her. I think he would have seen that Kate was alright without him and stopped worry about how it might look abandoning her. Jeanette could have easily been the hero, and I thought she was at least someone to feel bad for (despite her flaws and getting caught in the whirlwind of things), but NOOOO. I'm very curious is Season 2 will be another case or a continuation; it would be interesting to see how things ended up but I also kind of hope they leave it on an ominous note.
