Honestly if I made the models and never even played, I would be happy just for the experience of making them and then displaying them, heh. I hope you do give it a shot though!

I have been thinking about doing something like that. The idea of video of us playing stuff is getting more and more interesting to me. I'm going to experiment with it soon.

You just convinced me to buy into it. My number one passion is X-Wing and I love that this game brought in a similar style template system. I hate measuring tapes lol! Consider me subscribed. I look forward to seeing more videos of your new cars as you create them.

Cars look great Jamie! Will you be doing a review of Gaslands? I'm just getting into my first tabletop war game now, Dracula's America, and Gaslands certainly has a lot of appeal too.

Those cars look AWESOME! This game seems to bring out the kid in you. I’d love to try it sometime. It would be a death match of My Little Pony and Barbie cars since my girls have so many lol

Great video! I'm the same way about my painted minis, they all have stories and character. Can you review this Gaslands game? It seems great, and now that the new Car Wars isn't coming out until 2019+ I'd like to look into other games like this.

Nice video. I got curious about comparission with the amount of rules. The few wargames I know, they have too many and detailed rules. It is cultural in USA like so many rules? In Brasil we most like few rules (most of the players). And Gaslands has few rules. How you see this in USA with Gaslands?

I've never tried a miniatures game so I don't have any extra bits and pieces that I could use to modify my cars. Any suggestions on where I might find such things? I've done a quick search on eBay but I'm not really sure what to exactly search them as.

Well, I've personally never purchased individual bits since I have leftovers from 40k so I dont have a good answer for you so I suggest jumping into the Gaslands Facebook Group. I'm a member of that group and I often see people discussing various websites to buy bits and components. I found a neat website called Ramshackle Games at which i bought a pack of 20mm biker game minis $20 shipped (bikers are part of this game as well). shop.ramshacklegames.co.uk

I don't think you really need bits from wargames to convert the cars. Have a look at cheap 'action man' military type toys for all sorts of guns, missiles etc that you can chop up and use on cars. Even just regular household items can be turned into something cool with a little bit of effort. :)

The channel "Game Terrain Engineering" just posted a video about using electronic bits such as wires, fuses, and resistors for this very thing.

It's so fun. It's its not really that hard. I'm used to Games Workship and Privateer Press, etc and this is a nice break in the action that more instant gratification. Painting cars to look old and beat up is fun!
