Jamie was not necessarily chasing more money, maybe a longer contract, I wonder if the club considered a NEW one year contract but with an option of another year. A good performance incentive and a bit of security for Jamie.

Happy to still have Walker on board but seems a bit weak from the club. Mixed emotions about the whole situation, great player for the level and would've been great business keeping him on the new terms but now his greed will annoy me massively if he gets injured again and misses a chunk of the season again when the wages saved could've gone towards getting an adequate back up in

To be honest I'm not bothered about the ins and outs of his contract and obviously I hope he keeps fit and free of niggles next season. To be fair to the lad most of his injuries are picked up through his pressing and going in where it hurts, that's called commitment. I certainly won't be calling him greedy and if anyone does although that is their opinion and they are entitled to it but it is a very naive view. To us supporters it is just football and we are only interested in Bradford City. As for Jamie he obviously loves his football but it is also his job and he has his family and financial commitments to consider, just like any of us, albeit at a different level, I would be just the same as him on this matter, as would any right minded individual.
