The Darkfever series by Karen Marie Moning is pretty good. I read it years ago and currently rereading it. Feel like it’s one of those that gets darker as the series continues.

me oh my,. I just wanna say thank you for still filming makeup tutorials, and making content for youtube! today is valentines day and I've just sat down for the first time in MONTHS to do my makeup. when I was younger I would always do this and thats actually how I learned and fell in love with makeup. But not many people I follow do this anymore and I miss it so much! it was so fun and nostalgic to "do my makeup with you" you also gave me some inspo and lit a bit of a fire in me for my love for makeup, so thank you

If you love SJM's ACOTAR and ToG I highly recommend reading the Crescent City series if you haven't. It's a bit of a slow roll at first but it's so good!

I consider myself a fantasy smut *PRO*. I am very discerning and have high standards and will only recommend when I feel like it's top shelf even though I myself will plow through anything lol. Maas is of course the queen...BUT kindle unlimited had some great gems this year! The Wolf King and How Does It Feel were the two that stood out to me. They are Enemies to Lovers, which is my fave trope and had endings that left you wanting more!

I love anything Sarah J Mass. I’ve just finished my ACOTAR re read and it was so much better second time round. I would reccomend Serpant and the Wings of Night, Powerless by Lauren Roberts and also One Dark Window

Love a good book club recommendation!! You definitely need to delve into dark romance/mafia romance love Amo Jones Elite Kings Series and Rachel Van Dyken Eagle Elite! Love a GRWM tutorial with a few hints slipped in, bring on the setting spray and contour stick 😜

I’m in love with skin nova on my more mature skin! And I’m forever mixing foundations! Love both those nars but I also love adding a little of the L’Oréal freshwear to it, mainly for the undertones and longevity but also for the finish. I mix a little of the Charlotte Tilbury flawless filter or the elf version of that, the finish is beautiful and it can be beautifully sheered out to a medium coverage, because at nearly 50 I don’t want more than a medium at most these days! I do the same with the concealer! Huda, hourglass and Natasha denona is my current favourite for my mature under eyes. That said, those are my current favourites! When you have as many foundations and concealers as you and I do, it’s nice to use them all, so I’m working my way through my collection and rotate them every month or so!

@@tessabutwithoutnumbers 40 is THE BESSST! I'm turning 42 on the third of February. I have never felt better about myself on the inside and who I am as a whole! I get so excited when people turn 40 lol. It's like NOW your life truly begins! There's a sexiness that real WOMEN have that just doesn't compete. It's a confidence that you have not hit yet until you're truly an adult woman. It's not about the way you look! It's about how you FEEL! Self doubt, low self esteem, low self confidence, comparisons to others, start to fall away! The mental beat downs we do to ourselves when we're younger, start to stop. Thinking that we aren't smart enough, rich enough, thin enough, pretty enough, successful enough, noticed enough, loved by others enough! We start to love OURSELVES enough! To accept that we truly are EXACTLY where we're supposed to be! Doing EXACTLY what we're supposed to be doing! I've been seeing loads of videos about gen z going batshit bonkers about being a quarter century old lol! Why? Because they only care and worry about looks and physical appearance. There's so much more to life and to us as individuals than looks! I wish I could tell all of them that you suddenly don't shrivel up like a prune on your 30th birthday lol! I'm almost 42 and I have an even skin tone. Don't have wrinkles. My face isn't sagging to my shoulders. I've never had Botox or fillers. I've never had a facial. I say this because 40 is not old! We still can easily have 50+ years of life left, God willing! I hope you had a fabulous birthday and congratulations on 40!💕

The Myths of Airren, The Folk of the Air, The Tainted Accords. Fantasyland, and Goblin Kings (by Emma Hamm)are good book series.

I recommend the Fae Isles series, Court of Blood & Bindings is first book, the final 4th book is coming in April so starting the reread on Feb 9 with the author, Lisette Marshall. It's a 4 book series plus 1 novella and she said she may be expanding the world past the main couple. SO EXCITED - I just finished HOFAS yesterday. That's all I'll say about that in case you haven't read yet.

I think an online bookclub is needed!! You need to read Crescent City series by Sarah Maas (book 1 it was hard to get into for me but after a few chapters of meeting all the characters it was good) book 3 is coming out next week and at end of book 2 a character literary lands in the ACOTAR world. Maas is brilliant

Awesome makeup and hair tips as per normal. I wish we could hear some of your full on book banter! I used to be into fantasy but ts purely crime procedurals and thrillers. Love Tana French's Dublin Murder Squad series, Ann Cleeves and David Peace books. Anything by Annie Proulx, Toni Morrison or Cormac McCarthy.

Jamie pleeeeeease make a **COOL TONED CONTOUR STICK FOR LIGHT AND DEEP SKIN TONES** 😍😍 if there is anyone that could give us that classic 90’s cool toned grunge contour- it would be you 😍🔥 EVERYTHING on the market that is labeled a contour stick is sooooo warm toned. 🥺 I am Indian and all these cream bronzers and “cream contours” show up almost like blush on me and are so red and warm and orange 😭😩 I have to go to the pro brands like rcma or graftobian and find cool tone contours. They are getting sooooo hard to find nowadays 😢 I always usually have to mix a few seeds from a cream palette onto a metal mixing palette before I use a small tiny eye brush to apply it on my face, and then a precise brush to blend the contour out so it doesn’t look muddy. It gets so tiring to have to always mix the creams from various different pots and palettes together on to a metal palette to mix the colors to get that perfect cool toned color that is dark enough for my Indian skin tone. I’m like a MAC NW 42 for reference. It would be such a DREEEAM to have an easy cool toned contour stick for various different skin tones. Keeping my fingers crossed you can release a product like this one day 😍 I hope you have a FANTASTIC time with your friends for book club! As a stay at home mom, I’ve found myself getting really lonely and introverted. You have inspired me to get out and do something for myself once in a while. I literally have not been out with a friend in over a year. Not even for a quick lunch or dinner or had a friend over for some wine- nothing. It feels lonely. Thank you for inspiring me! I am going to look for a book club near me ❤ have a wonderful time gorgeous. Sending love to you and yours ❤
