Grew up with a water fountain in our hallway in the 70's. Nobody I knew of ever had one! Also had a full sized pebble ice machine . . . HEAVEN!

We had a water fountain in one of our houses growing up. Great idea! And I absolutely love the salvaged wood wall hanging with the hooks. 😍

We had a plastic water fountain my dad rigged up out side in out backyard. Like Zeb, if he could think it, he could make it. So we never had to go inside for water during the hot summers in SC. He also made me a state board from old key skates, He was an awsome dad, we basically had a playground in our backyard including a merry go round. Great childhood.

We used to have neighbors that had a drinking fountain in their house. They had four kids. I always thought it was a cool idea!

Looks great! I love it! I would add a small chalkboard above the fountain and add a daily/weekly positive quote for the kiddos.

I am surprised that the water fountain is so modern looking. Such a great idea though, every home that has kids needs one of these.

I streamed this to the big TV, my son saw and said that's the water fountain he has been asking for all year! I thought he just wanted a bottled water machine or something. I had no idea! Now I know. Totally cool.

I was totally expecting a surprise of Zeb building some type of encasement out of reclaimed wood (to match the coat hook piece) or Jamie painting a salt wash stone look....or maybe even Zeb showing his copper bending skills to design a French style copper water fountain. hahaha The mud room is one of my favorite spaces in your home. So unique.

I hate public drinking fountains, but I love the idea of one at home. I wonder if the "situation" will make public fountains a thing of the past? Even though I'm a teacher and have seen things that you would not believe, I hope that drinking fountains can continue to be available.

Gosh, I wish I would have thought of that, when I ran a daycare center for 7 years & had 55 children enrolled at highest capacity. It sure would have solved the never ending I need a drink issue. How much does something like that cost? It's such a cool idea, for anyone with kids around. Or ppl. like us who have to spend alot of the really hot days outside on crazy making a farm from scratch, nothing here, not even a road, so alot of hard work days out in the sun. Mobile homes being remodled, making 2 units into one. Twice one for us & one for son in law & daughter.. And I feel Zeb & your pain when you are outside in the hot sun! This is one of my favorite videos ever, because Jami's clothes look like mine always do, lots of paint on them & dirty! I can't figure out how in the world all these ppl. who make videos doing all these get you dirty things & paint, never even pushing there sleeves up & they don't have a drop of paint in them! Not me, I open the paint & somehow seem to get it all over me! This looks real, like real ppl. really doing there own work. Most look like someone else must have came in & did the dirty work! Lol.. but true for sure. If I ever did a video it would have to be completely edited & there would end up being nothing left after the getting dirty & making a mess parts got taken out.. lol
