As a recent member of the 40+ club that has 4 months under his belt after a 23 year hiatus from a good 5 years as a teen. I find watching Hannah learn and progress is simultaneously the most insightful and uplifting experience as it is a crushing reminder that I’m no spring chicken and that plateau is just over the next rise ! Keep it up girl. You come off as very genuine and humble. Salut!

My local, Hangar Exeter, has just got its first crack climb (at least in the 6 months I've been there) and it's the WideBoyz black fixtures in a vertical setup. I'm hyped but also slightly scared I'm going to grate the skin off my hands. I don't have gloves because I don't normally have any need for them - can you get by without them for short periods or is that just asking for damage?

No crack climber but I've tryed gym crack problems the rare times I've seen them without gloves and been fine by me, I just stop when I feel like I'm running out of skin. Only time I kinda messed up my skin was when I tried to re-send smth for video and I felt my skin was already reckted. But I didn't care because I wanted the likes and didn't plan to do much crack climbing soon anyways, it took about 10 days I think that time to recover where it wouldn't really hurt to jam smth again :D. But normally if you stop your crack project when skin gets proper painful then mine recovers in 2 days or so.

You could make tape gloves if you don't want to go straight to buying the real thing!
