@@Silentmobius6669 They didn't fuck over all of them quit spreading lies. A handful of them were still on a no-outside work contract. Unfortunately yeah even when the company went belly up, they were still under said contract. Kinda like when WWE releases a wrestler, there's still a full 90 day no-work clause saying they can't get officially hired by anyone till that time is up.

I loved Lucha Undergroun. Even though they were kind of sloppy at times (this video has some examples... Lots of pinfalls without both shoulders touching the ground), the unique storylines, atmosphere and slick presentation were awesome. Not to mention it was my first exposure to some of my favorite modern wrestlers. I started watching AEW because of how many Lucha Underground guys they had.

Lucha Underground was FANTASTIC, it was the most unique pro wrestling product made in a long time, their format that mixed fiction with wrestling was top notch, motherF*ckres were killing characters and bringing them back like it was a horror movie. Damn i miss it.

Loved LU, I should go back and binge watch it. There were a lot more people that came out of LU than I realized Thunder Rosa, Isaiah Swerve Scott and Luchasaurus are three I didn't even know about until I listened to some interviews over the last year or so.

Alberto won both Heavyweight and WWE titles. Definitely wasn't buried, the only dude allowed to get close to Punk and Cena. He just had a shit attitude, eventually burning many bridges outside of wwe

I seriously wonder how far he could go in the UFC. Lesnar won gold on the back of his skill in wrestling. Alberto would only need a Tweek of his striking and it wouldn't be inconceivable that he could win gold.
