Having multiple finishers sort of ruins it… look at the RKO - great finishing move

I fell out of wrestling in 2006, but I occasionally get back into it because of nostalgia -- but of course I only watch WWE up until maybe 2001 and then mostly ECW and Japan Wrestling -- but damn videos like this make me feel like a kid again. The Testosterone RUSH from watching moves like 5:57 just came back to me like I was still into wrestling. THAT move was a Cradle Tombstone! NO WHERE have I seen that move other than Japan. ECW Legend Jerry Lynn had the Cradle Piledriver and of course Undertaker is mostly known for the Tombstone, but them together is a Brutal Move. Awesome times though. NOTHING other than videogames has gotten better in the last 20 years.

Lucky more weren't killed during this time with those head drops. Gonzo bombs. Burning hammers. Tiger drivers. Steve Williams was brutal over there. So was Vader!

This is the kind of wrestling we'll always want to see. All these moves are badass and WWE has lost its mind.

Wrestlers in the 80s: Finish was a Heart Punch, and ppl bought it. Wrestlers now: Finish is a 630 Superkick, and no one buys it. And no, its not bc of the internet. Ppl knew it was fake in the 80s. But the wrestlers didnt insult your intelligence. Imagine watching Rocky II, and right before the double knockdown, Rocky looks at the camera, no longer exhausted, and winks, then falls.

I wonder when we'll come full video game circle and have someone literally debut in AEW as "Mitsuharu Misawa" in the iconic green tights, with zero irony or comedic intent. I give it about a year.
