Great questions. I have always assumed that it is glued to the 2" PVC pipe, however, I will check it and reply again tomorrow when I get home. As for the check valve, is it right to think that it would be inside the housing of the blower. I would think that there would be one inside to keep the water from flowing back into the blower... If it would help you, let me know by replying and I'll grab a screwdriver and open it up for you and check. Good luck!

@@FamilyFirstProductReviews thanks very much. I went on a research tear after I wrote my question to you so I apologize- but I found some answers based on my older version of the PSB215. The installation manual specifically says NOT to cement or glue it to the pvc. They suggest a couple of small screws in pre- drilled holes. And it has a built in check valve. Now if I could only figure out the issue with mine…… I may give up and just buy the psb215. I’m replacing the air switch first so let’s see. Thanks for the willingness to look into it for me. Do you happen to know the best way to program, can you run it automatically or it has to be manually turned on and off

@@cristianfernando4245 Hi Cristian, I can control mine manually by pushing buttons out on the big control panel by the pool pump, however, I never do it that way. We control it from my phone using the iAquaLink app. Obviously, we have the AquaLink transmitter connected to the big control panel out by the pool pump.
