Everyone keeps saying the audience is dead. Listen: they are not. Being that this was a live broadcast and they were doing a live recording, they piped straight from the soundboard to the output. So what we're hearing is not the same as what the audience is hearing. They got a different version, and likewise, we can't hear the audience since it's the soundboard version and not what's actually coming out of the speakers. If you listen close enough, you can hear the double voices when the two versions overlap. One is live direct . One is live recorded backing track.

Nope. It's standard practice in the music biz to overdub TV recordings and DVD releases to clear up audio mistakes and acoustics. So what we're hearing is not the same as what the crowd is hearing. We are hearing it from the soundboard. The crowd gets it from the mic to the speaker system. You all have to understand how these things work. If you listen close enough, you can hear the double voices.
