Today we're taking a look at the new Empire rework for The Supreme Patriarch himself, Balthazar Gelt! It has him starting out in Cathay, with many new dilemmas, magical abilities and a brand new Colleges of Magic mechanic.
The changes and features will launch in a patch alongside the upcoming Thrones of Decay DLC(s). (Release date unconfirmed as of writing this description, but it'll probably be a couple of weeks or so)

I like to think that's part of Gelt's new spell that's convinced his men that they're all doing this for the good of the Empire. They're fighting a totally different battle in their head :P

Pushing into Middenland is a great idea, it's where the Nemesis Crown is supposed to be hidden, so I look forward to Gelt unleashing the Millinery Industrial Complex!

The embargo stops them from using the DLC units. Just the FLC and reworked old stuff are allowed to be shown.

Im kinda worried now that since Gelt is far away and not witin the Imperial Authority system thats its fuctionally impossible to confederate him as Karl or Elspeth with out some major campaign gymnastics...
