Tip to help with eggy flavor: remove the chalaza (the semi-solid white squiggly part) from the egg white with tongs or a fork!!! Works like a charm!

I'd always assumed Hawaiian rolls was a brand, I'd never imagined they'd be sweet and pineapple flavoured! Might still try these with savoury flavours as your recipes are reliable and tasty 😊

Janet....do you think your version of Hawaiian rolls would hold up in the baked recipes calling for King's rolls? The ham/cheese ones and you pour over the top a poppyseed butter mixture and bake? Just wondering if they would hold up to that...your thoughts? Thank you for all the work you put into your recipes that you so kindly share with us! You are a kind and wonderful lady!

I haven't tried these in the King's rolls recipes but I think they would work. They're very sturdy

They look really good. I've made the egg white based bread variations that several keto KZfaqrs (like Indigo Nilly, Marie Emerich, and a few others)were going wild over last year, and really liked it, and this looks similar except it has the sunflower seed flour added. Does it get that slight chokey feeling when you swallow it like those can, or does the sunflower seed flour eliminate it?

Hi Janet, I’m fairly new to your channel. I appreciate all your recipes! These look so good and I miss Hawaiian rolls. What dry spices would be good to add into this recipe to where there’s no egg taste? Or is it best to just leave them as is, to keep this as much as a Hawaiian roll as possible? 😊

I liked it just as is. My go to seasoning is Italian dry seasoning but that wouldn't taste very Hawaiian. Maybe just a little onion powder or garlic powder might work

@@JanetsDeliciousLowCarbKitchen thank you for the suggestions. Is the yeast that you put in your recipe the rapid rising kind? I like the taste of yeast in keto bread too. I have both the nutritional yeast and the rapid rising kind.

@@Debbie-Savings I use the instant rapid rise yeast in mine. The nutritional yeast would be good if you want a little bit of a cheesy taste in the rolls

Looks great - what is the nutritional info for this recipe? Would it work with part whites part full eggs?

@@Ali-y1b I haven't tried this with part egg whites and part full eggs. If you did this you will have to adjust the amount of eggs. Two egg whites are roughly equivalent to one whole eggs. Also the rolls will not be as airy and fluffy

So much for "quick"....not having a stand mixer and standing for 15 minutes using a hand mixer is too long for me....but they look good

When I need stiff whites, like for cloud bread, it only takes about 3-4 minutes with my handheld mixer. I wouldn’t let the long whipping time keep me from trying this recipe. I think if I were to mix them that long, they’d end up breaking and being ruined.

I’ll bet it’ll be good!! 🤗
