Omg! Old Master Q! Such nostalgia. My dad and brother would read the comics to me as I couldn't read Chinese. Afterwards, I would make up my own stories with them. I can't believe there's still merch for them!

It's nice to see somewhere in HK that's not crowded, and glad you had a nice day out with your mum. I can't believe there's a bridge to Macau now, when I was there the Hydrofoil took an hour from memory so that must be some drive.

Great video, as usual. Just wanted to share that there is a path/trail from Tung Chung station to the top of Ngong Ping. It's a good 2hr hike and a very enjoyable one for people who love hiking. Take the cable car on the return trip down. Hope you are having a funtastic time in HK. Safe travels.

I literally did the same exact trip here!!! It was a nice way to get out of the city! Really loved the cable ride and the tofu pudding :)

The view from the cable car was spectacular. It is a very nice place to visit. Two years ago I walked down the giant stairway of the Blue Mountains and my legs still hurt, I can imagine what it's like to climb the big Buddha! The food looks so good, I definitely have to try the buns. I think I've eaten the pineapple ones before but the Chashu in yours looks better. PS your mom's outfit is very cute!

Lok Sen Fah = Roselle (which you can get from the market and cook with some water and abit of sugar to get the syrup to make cold or hot drink).

🤗 the fish balls in Singapore airport T3 is nice and bouncy 😋 the only place to grab some food at any hour > open nearly 24hrs 🙀 the service is hit or miss in terms of friendliness 🤪 the best food sometimes has grumpy staff 😲

hey janice, you should try a rice noodle place called tam jai sam gor, its very famous in hong kong! and might as well go for sushiro which is for cheap but high quality sushi!

I remember hearing a few months after I had visited Lantau Island and rode the cable car that one of them fell off! Would still go on it again but doubt my knees could manage the stairs to the Buddah 😂 Love these Hong Kong vids Janice!

I was lucky enough to see the dolphins 🐬 when i took that boat ride. We also saw the Chinese navy ships too. The captain said that the Chinese navy will shoot at you if you cross the boarder

Hi Janice - excellent video. Question - did you every make it in the past to the jumbo floating seafood restaurant? It closed in 2020 and recently it was towed out of the harbor and sank out at sea :(
