I've had a bum serger since I got mine back from the tune-up 2 YEARS AGO. I live super rural & the shop returned my serger without thread (the old thread was dry rot as I got the machine 2nd hand). I finally got the nerve to break it back out on this rainy farm day & since last I was on youtube no video existed that helped. My tension was all out of whack so I followed your video step by step & ALAS I CAN SERGE! The whole world is shiney & new. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!!! SUBSCRIBED!

Good machine but has a hard start always needs to be pushed manually ..this is a bother when you need both hands to hold the fabric...and this brrrrr..brrr sounds like it wants but cannot......Otherwise goood...basic ....

I'm sorry you are having this issue. That doesn't sound typical. You may want to take it to your Janome dealer for a tune up.

you shouldn't need 2 hands to hold the fabric. A serger has an extra long foot and good feed dogs that will pull the fabric into the machine to stitch.

Does it take two women to show how to use a Jerome Serger??? Why can't just one woman explain the steps. I find the other, perhaps older woman, an total irritation. Its even more irritating when they are both talking at once and interrupting each other.
