Rockettes - Toy Soldiers Falling Down - Filmed at Radio City December 2010. My wife and I took our 3-year-old grandson to see the Christmas Show. We were in the first row of the balcony.
(For those of you who make comments thinking that this is a group of guys, please note that the Rockettes are all females. )
(The chewing sound that people complain about is someone sitting behind us.)

I’ll let you in on a little secret! When the music is being played like that, there is no written music. It just says to play random scales, notes, and pretend to tune in the score.

If you watch more videos the fall isn't always exactly the same, it can go faster or slower - it can also get faster as it progresses. But it's always very impressive.

I had the pleasure of going to NY in 2006 and seeing the Christmas show live at Radio City. It was wonderful, joyous, and the live nativity at the end was so beautiful!

Alert. Bitter toxic slave has entered the chat. It doesn't make money; it transfers money from the people in the audience to the people in the production. Everybody's happy with the contract. The performance gets money for food, clothes and luxuries from the audience members that appreciate their service. How that gets distributed is worked out between the performers, producers, workers and unions. It may not be fair but it works better than having a third party management family shut it down before it starts because it violates their secular philosophies. Or if they allow it, having them manage the wealth extracted from their 'human capital' to distribute it based on their own pedantic interests.

I love these girls!) Falling Soldier scene is one of my favorites. In 2003 I had a private tour in Radio City and saw their rehersals! Will never forget the leader yelling "HO-O-O-LD!")))

I saw this some years ago in NYC at the Radio City Christmas show. The whole show is GREAT especially the Rockettes. Go see it if you are ever in NYC at Christmastime.

I saw the Rockettes do this in the Passion Play for Christmas, 1983 at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. It was wonderful!

Some of my favorite memories growing up in Portland Oregon was going into the downtown part to watch plays. The school would bring everyone down there at least twice a year to watch shows like the nutcracker or the secret garden. Lots of different plays.

I saw them when I was real young and I remember getting a rockette barbie in red since it was Christmas time - my family begged me not to open it and I did. Kinda regret that decision now tbh. Wouldve been cool to have still.

Those parts where they were suddenly falling really quickly looks like its due to individuals not holding the person in front properly (most lock their arms into each other’s armpit but u can see some were not doing so)
