I always love your recommendations! There's been this bag I've been wanting to buy for my mom but I couldn't figure out how to check out to ship to my airbnb when I was in Japan. And now I finally bought it! Thank you!!!

I just wanted to confirm that so many of these 'random' recommendations are EXCELLENT and I hope people realise that they're being recommended for solid reasons. For example; I kept seeing these Imabari towels being recommended and I every time I thought, 'a towel?! You're kidding me?' I caved and the curiosity made me buy a regular smaller sized one last year. OMG. I get it now. I'm going to buy a big 'Western' sized bath towel later this year, no matter how much it costs. WOW. Next up are the socks you first recommended here. I'm all ears for these recommendations as I've NEVER EVER been disappointed, left wondering what the hype was all about. The hype is so deserved with all these passionate recommendations. Thank you Ms Gorilla!! I'm ready to have my world rocked yet again. I love you Japan.😄💯💯💯👍

Hello! I love your comments, I watched the whole series for Japan. I am looking for good quality accessories (mostly earrings and necklaces) but the Mikimoto and the ErisVelina ones are still on the expensive side for me. Can you recommend another brand on the lower price range but still long lasting and good quality? TYIA!

I'm a petite lady and need sneakers size eu 35 - 36 ( thick socks). It's so hard to find anything in my size 😢 I'm going to Japan next month and hope to find some good sneakers for petite people. If sneakers has hidden sole to give some height it would be a dream. Any idea where to find it in Japan?

I am sure you’ll be able to find something your size in Japan. Their sizing is perfect for petite people. I don’t know any sneakers with hidden soles but I find the new balance 327 sneakers to be quite cushiony and elevated 😊🩵

What is the buyee standard plan give you? Do you recommend the insurance and inspection service ? What does that mean exactly? . Is the service fee per item ? I noticed I have to pay the buyee service fee for each item I am buying on yahoo Japan auction ?
@gorillasinheels
@gorillasinheels 4 ай бұрын
Thank you for your questions. Yes there is a JPY300 service fee for each item as explained at the end of the video. This is the standard Buyee fees. I usually do not top up for insurance and inspection because I buy household/ beauty products. However you may consider adding insurance if you’re buying something very expensive or fragile.

Do you know if shipping cost is close to Amazon Japan? Their shipping cost is way too much!
@gorillasinheels
@gorillasinheels 6 ай бұрын
Hello! I think it depends on where you are and the weight of all your items. I’m sure how it’s like for Amazon Japan but for buyee you get the benefit of consolidating items and you can also choose the cheapest shipping available. Mine was about 10 dollars on buyee for a parcel.
