Two more things we love about Japan: luggage lockers and vendo machines!
On our first respective trips to Japan, we had no idea about luggage lockers and initially thought it was an unnecessary expense. But it is highly recommended if you're making off-city trips as part of your wider itinerary. In our case, Kiso Valley was on the itinerary but the journey goes on to Takayama, so we decided to use a locker in Nagoya Station, the transport hub we would use to continue our travel.
Luggage delivery service is also another option -- it will be definitely in our future videos on the next trip to Japan (soon, haha)!
And of course, vending machines! We love them. But in many cases, do you even know what's on that case of deliciously timely mystery box?
