i am sure tony knows, but if the vert skaters at their 20s now are at this insane level its because of HIM...and a handfull of other skate gods that literally paved the way.

35:00 Could be a whole show. Some reality-TV in "The Hawk House." I'm not really suggesting they install cameras all throughout the place and turn Tony's life and his family's life into a public spectacle. But...Jason's skit would be fun to watch, him just yelling at Tony over the PA system, like an aggressive dad.

I never thought about it, but those woodward foam pit/resi pad kids are absoutely perfect for vert contests, all they have to do is just huck tricks while going back and forth and not have to think about being stylish in a bowl for the judges or worry about what lines to take through a course or whatever, not that im saying its a bad thing but it just fits.

You guys should get Ken Park on the show. That would be rad. I talked to him on Facebook Messenger over a year ago and jokingly said you should go on The Nine Club. He said he'd love to. I told them about it numerous times. Work your magic and get him on here! I always felt he doesn't get any recognition what-so-ever. I thought he did some really cool stuff back in the day.

You can get old and still do stuff / look good. Sure it’s not the same as you skated/ looked years ago but it’s worth having some pride in the fact you can still do what you do, and that you still look as good as you do. Loving the show y’all.

this is what people don't get about skateboarding. it's a cult of injury.... you don't get hooked until the first time you really hurt yourself, because the rush is all about avoiding consequences... I broke my femur skating vert at 48... was out doing tree work with chainsaws six weeks later, messing myself up... its just a mindset...

Vert absolutely craps on park if there wasn't very I absolutely would not have watched .. For non street events I say Bowl/pool like combi or Bondi are best then vert then "park it's just to slow
