Hello everyone! Today we bring you another popular makeup video. Once again, we asked model Haru to try a traditional Japanese makeup technique called "shironuri". Haru says she has always wanted to try white makeup like maiko and geisha! She seemed very happy to have her wish come true this time.

@@hdb80 I'm thinking the keys are 1) super thick layer of primer to provide a super smooth surface, and prevent the makeup from sinking in or shifting. I believe most professional geisha use bees wax as a primer. 2) Blending out and buffing with a huge, clean sponge, 3) Pressing on tons of powder to "set" it. You can do the same with everyday makeup, but it would look really thick and mask-like, just like here.

@@user-tl1jh3qz5q There is a type of filter on. There are programs that will specifically blur only the skin, so it can smooth out her skin but keep everything else clear and appear normal. It's actually very common, people use it all the time in apps like tik tok, snapchat, and instagram.

初めてこちらのチャンネルの動画拝見しました。不自然に音出しながらメイクしてる風の動画より、こういうちゃんとメイクしてたまに音が鳴るくらいのASMRの方が好きなので嬉しいです。伝統のお化粧が出来上がっていく過程も観られて目にも耳にも嬉しい動画でした。

As we speak, i'm wearing extremely thick makeup including white face paint. Not geisha makeup in any sense, but comparable in terms of sensation. You can absolutely feel the makeup on your face and will not forget!! lol dont worry!!! its a constant reminder

I am in awe of how beautiful this is! And it is so simple.. i am also quite amazed at how just that littlest bit of red down the sides of the nose and under the eyebrows pops after she puts the white on. I was thinking why put it on before the white base you wont be able to see it, but you can and it is so subtle.. just beautiful!!! Thank you for sharing

С огромным интересом просмотрела ролик. Впечатлила и атмосфера, и поведение мастера и модели... Насколько же нежные, женственные движения... В макияже удивила техника нанесения туши на верхние ресницы. Окрашивание не снизу вверх, как всегда, что бы поднять ресницы, "распахнуть", а сверху вниз... Получается, что у девушки они полуопущены, даже когда она смотрит прямо... Неожиданный прием...😊

Beautiful. It’s done with such care & gentleness. The artist doesn’t do anything without ensuring the model is comfortable. I think I would have the patience to apply to makeup, but I definitely wouldn’t be a good model (always been fidgety about having makeup applied on myself). Still, I think the model was pretty even without the makeup.
