So kinda like in English "This is a pen" versus "it's a pen". The second sentence sounds much more natural and less robotic.

I was so confused when I was reading today and I kept seeing って. It's used fairly often in what I'm reading and grammar sites weren't really helping very much. Thanks!

Does 「っていうのは」 and 「っていういみ」 have the same meaning? Like this sentence... Sentence 1: 「Okay」っていうのは「オッケー」だ。 Sentence 2: それはオッケーっていういみだ。 Does both of the sentences says that "it means okay"?

Hmmm🤔 これってなに is better. Because なにこれ includes a negative nuance like a “it sucks!! what is this? ”
