FYI, I don't know if you realized the most powerful Easter egg in the last scene. Tommy was famous for his line "Get him a body bag!" and they ended it with putting him IN a body bag. Also, Rob Garrison (the actor who played Tommy) passed away in real life a few months after this season was released in 2019.

When it comes to Johnny and Daniel fighting yes but she does lets her emotions get to her and makes some stupid mistakes, that's why she slapped Kreese and has to keep 50 yards away, got kicked out of the all valley meeting because she couldn't keep her cool, got Tory fired, poked the bear trying to get Kreese kicked out of his Dojo by that little owner guy that owns the strip mall. fun fact: william zabka(johnny) actually trained under pat johnson(the choreographer in karate kid movie) after the movie ended for years, pat is the guy who worked with bruce lee and chuck norris and apparently william zabka was also planning to go down on the same path and actually starred in a movie with Bolo Yeung (enter the dragon) and michael bernardo a former martial artist champion and stuntmen, the 3 were the lead actors in the movie shootfighter:fight to the death (1993), but for some reason william didn’t continue his martial arts career after 90s.

Just so you know, the Medal of Honor is one of the highest medals you can get in the US military, it stands for someone who risked their own life to save others in the field, above the regular call to duty. So it is absolutely disgusting that they stole it from Mr Miyagi.

If you're confused by "shirts" vs "skins", it's terms we use when playng sports. If you're playing with friends, you don't have uniform colors to tell teams apart. So on half takes off their shirt (skins) and the other half keeps their shirts on (shirts). Demitri was making an awkward joke that it was okay for Sam to take her shirt off.

What does it mean when someone rolls your yard with toilet paper? Toilet papering (also called TP-ing, house wrapping, yard rolling, or simply rolling) is the act of covering an object, such as a tree, house, or another structure with toilet paper. ... Toilet papering can be an initiation, a joke, a prank, or an act of revenge. For those of you who live in the city, a brief explanation is in order: tee-peeing is the practice of hurling rolls of toilet paper (hence the term tee-pee, as in T.P.) into the air in the dark of night and watching them unfurl on the limbs of the largest tree in someone's front lawn. What is the Native American word for Teepee? thipi Teepee, or tipi, comes from the Lakota word thipi, which in English means “a dwelling” or “they dwell”. Other names exist for homes or dwellings that represent different structures that were made for similar purposes for First Nations people. This is basically what using toilet paper for but it also has a Termanology towards T-Peeing which actually kind of plays a part with making fun of Native Americans which I happen to be Native American so I know the derogatory standpoint of what also T-peeing it was a mockery of the name of a Tepee basically talking about what is toilet paper used for and one of the terms for toilet paper is tee pee so it’s also a racist derogatory term towards Native American heritage and Native American culture there you go now you know the answer I only know about the races derogatory standpoint of this about a part of my heritage that I hold very very dear because when I was much younger I had much older older friends when I was a kid who actually lived back in the 1800s like 1889 and 1895 and they lived into the 80s and late 70s when I was roughly about 4 , 5 and 6 years old and they told me the stories about it so there you go.. there’s you a very rough example of where the term tepee I actually came from it’s a prank it’s a joke and modern day but it was also a racist derogatory things towards Native Americans about their hygiene about their living in teepees so yes are used to take a great deal of fence when people would go in that direction about the Termanology there you go by tee-pee it’s self and using toilet paper is actually pretty fun that’s the best way I can explain it

Toilet Paper used in vandalism is referred to as "Rolling" someone's house or property. There are three main groupings of this class of vandalism that have been used interchangeably during the Halloween season in the States. Toilet paper is used because October is generally a rainy month, and if it rains after the "rolling" of a yard, the toilet paper is extremely hard to clean up. The other two forms of this annoying type of vandalism are plastic forking someone's yard (the forks break easily and leave sharp plastic bits in the yard even during cleanup) and styrofoam peanuting someone's yard or vehicle (the styrofoam peanuts break up and cling to things due to static cling and are notoriously hard to clean up as well). All of these are forms of vandalism that generally meet with no criminal charges because normally no actual damage is done to property or person, and as such they are generally thought of as childish pranks more than outright vandalism (such as spray paint).

The part where they were lifting the rock together wasn't so much about karate technic as it was about teamwork and valuing each other. Daniel was trying to bring the two factions of kids together.

@52:00 I do agree with them in the ways of earning trophies. I wanted, and still want to do martial arts in order to learn the art form itself rather than do tournaments. That, and I'm a very introverted person so I just never really felt that need to compete to show if I'm good enough. - I'm sure tournaments had perks on honing your skills by going against another player, but they aren't important to me.

Oh the toilet paper thing is called teepeeing(kinda named after Native style tents). It's a popular prank due to how cheap it is to get the "supplies", but also a real pain to clean up for the person who is being pranked(especially if it happens to rain that day).

The horizontal bared doors are "Push doors" they never lock from the side with the bar and always lock from the opposite side, they are used in emergency exits and are often required in buildings of certain sizes for fire safety.

Your reviews and insights are so great! I've been wondering about The Wheel Technique that Daniel is teaching Sam and Robby. My background is Muay Thai and BJJ, so I don't know much about karate. It seems like it's not a good idea for them to turn and face each other if they're simulating a fight? Would love to hear what you think and what would be more effective for them to do!

I just want to say at 23:38 that what you say is true, I have therapy for my ADHD and anger and I get hung up on things and what she always tells me is to only focus on the things that I can change. If I can't change the situation then I shouldn't be wasting my energy or emotions into it. I just wanted to point out that if anyone else has things going on, this is a piece of advice that really does help

I think Cobra Kai's aggressive offensive tactics like a lot of things in Cobra Kai are inspired by US Army tactics and the concept of "Violence of action" using suprise, speed and aggression to destroy the enemy before they have a chance to react to the situation. After all "Cobra Kai" in this show was formed in Vietnam by Green Berets using Korean martial arts as its base but war time military tactics as its spirit.

At 40:10 toilet paper is very difficult to remove and leaves pieces as you try to pull it down. It makes the prank longer lasting as it frustrates the person attempting to clean the mess. It also creates the most amount of disorder by just throwing a roll that unwinds in the wind around trees, without doing much work.

Kreese's mind is wrapped up in war. He has severe PTSD and a mindset from a life of tragedy. In most of his life showing mercy to your enemy could mean death. He honestly thinks this is the best way to raise his students. It's the same style of training that the US Army infantry used up until recent years that they've toned down the brutality.

I...think it's a mistake to deduce there're no villains just because you understand someone's struggles and motivations. People are responsible for their actions, understandable or not. I don't think that evil in real life is like Skeletor cackling about the "power of evil," but people who make very wrong choices for very discernable, often perfectly understandable, reasons. If Miyagi-do is about reflection, peace, and rising above ourselves, then Kreese is someone who's ruled by his ego.
