Ingredients:
Dough:
- 2.5 cups unbleached bread flour
- 2 Tbsp. dry powdered milk
- 1/4 cup cane sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. instant yeast
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1 large egg
- 4 Tbsp. unsalted butter, melted
Tangzhong Method roux:
- 3 Tbsp. water
- 3 Tbsp. whole milk
- 2 Tbsp. unbleached bread flour
