At 2:45 not an anime, it was the Arabian channel which published and presented the Japanese anime in Arabic dubbing, and yes we as Arabs were raised with Japanese Anime and we still love it ❤️❤️

هذا الياباني متخصص في الأنمي الياباني واستغرب انه حصل مقطع يوتيوب لشخص عربي يتكلم عن تاريخ الأنمي الياباني وفي البداية كان مستغرب واستنكر ان شخص غير ياباني وعربي بالتحديد يعرف تاريخ الأنمي أكثر من اليابانيين لكن بعد ما شاف المقطع مترجم قال انه في شغلات حتى هو ما كان يعرفها في تاريخهم 🤣🤣🤣 يا سلام عليك يا براء عالم (فيلمر) هذا الانسان مبدع وقناته من أحلى قنوات اليوتيوب للمهتمين بالسينما والأفلام أو حتى الأنمي إبداع في طرح كل التفاصيل الصغيرة قبل الكبيرة 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 حبيت ردات فعل الياباني 😍🤣👍🏼

I am from the Untied Arab Emirates and I grew up watching anime in Arabic. I remember shifting to watching anime in Japanese with English subs when I was 14. Now I am 27 and I am still watching occasionally when I have time. I fell in love with Japanese people, history, and culture because of anime. Japanese language is very comfortable and familiar to my ears. I can understand when someone is speaking Japanese because of spending 13 years of my life listening to Japanese anime. My core memories as a child.include Grendizer and Mazinger. During the war in Lebanon, as a child, Grendizer was my escape from the chaos around me. I will always give Grendizer and Anime a special place in my heart and consider it a foundational part of my life journey. Still to this day, anime is a huge part of my life, with my daughter watching it with me. You are right to be proud of it as a Japanese person. Japanese culture touches us in many positive ways.

I’m from Kuwait and I grew with the Japanese anime. My generation knows it from Spacetoon TV. And now I’m watching it online with the Arabic subtitle. And of course my favorite mangaka right now is Urasawa Naoki.

as an 80s generation Arab man ... we grow up watching Japanese anime ... it's part of our childhood and my kids' childhood as well :) my daughter learn a lot of Japanese words from the Animies and she only likes to watch them in the Japanese language without doubting 😀 Thank you for sharing your experience and reaction 😉

Arab people in general have high esteem and respect for japan because of the similarities in traditional values like modesty bravery and honor. And FYI anime was/still so so so popular in the arab world since the 70's unlike amercan cartoons. By the way i'm 40 years old

I'm not an Arab but ı really like their dubs in anime and cartoons. Apparently I only know animes after 2000 except Rurouni Kenshin which is 1996. Now I'm going to watch sen to chihiro no kamikakushi for the first time.^^

Honestly, I finished my childhood with the Anime that we call cartoon, and the best thing was the sign that Rasha Rizk gave her and all the Animes I remembered, I didn't remember, I saw her, and now I went to see the endings and drawing, and the story is amazing, he became addicted to it And the best Anime was Narto and the sniper of the city 😇

Arabic is one of the main 5 languages in the world ‏; so you will find an Arabic translation of many things , Iraq was dubbing most of the anime, then Syria took it…today internet took it 🙆🏻‍♀️

I remember as a kid watching سيف النار (北斗の拳, fist of the north star) on spacetoon and I remember I would go around saying to people randomly "انت الان في عداد الموتى" and now that phrase is a meme (omae wa mou shindeiru)

Well, the original will always give an accurate picture of the anime itself. But you must give the Arabs props for doing their own thing. It impressive how spacetoon made its own version of every opening…it’s something unique.

So Spacetoon is a channel (much like Disney or Nickelodeon for example) and it was the mainstream channel that produced arabic dubbed anime to the middle east.

In arab world we grow up watching alot of 70's ,80's and 90's anime series like Sarutobi Sasuke まんが猿飛佐助 Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water ふしぎの海のナディア The Swiss Family Robinson: Flone of the Mysterious Island (家族ロビンソン漂流記ふしぎな島のフローネ And alot of other I can't even count,, basically the anime was the best thing in our childhood era
