My opinion - It's understandable that japan doesn't know about history of Indias colonization, it's fine. But what makes me really furious is that many of British still don't know there wrong deeds done by their ancestors, they aren't taught about this in school, it's really shameful of them 💢😡.

Britain still hasn't apologized for the kind of things that they have done in India, you might know about the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. they open fire on a peaceful gathering of protesters gathered in the jallianwala bagh(approx 2000 people died). they were unarmed and there were even women and children in that gathering. after the 100+ years after the incident, Britain still owes an official apology to India. you should watch "Sardar Udham" movie you will get to know more about this incident.

yes that was the base reason they still have this toolkit to destroy complete gurukul system till today even tho its almost destroyed but still the knowledge is still shared. people only saw the outside of what happening but British easily put the main agenda under the carpet. the main reason was like Mughals to destroy hindu cavillation and loot them in process.

@@dreamingofindia2543 you need to read and understand my previous comment. What I said, that many of us (Indians) don't know much about our own history in depth. Cause our education system never focused on educating us about it.. this might sound ridiculous, but even though Britishers ended their colonization and left. But the system they had created, never left India. . When any foreigner hear the word JAPAN, the first thing comes in their mind are Samurai warriors. Japan has emphasized on informing foreign countries about their great kings n history.. But you'll never hear about Indian warriors or Great Kings. Yea now cause of social media and Google its much easier to get information if you're interested about a certain person or its history. But our education system in India still doesn't care about teaching us our culture or history in detail. Basically we are getting more and more influenced by the western culture. Which kinda sucks big time.

After that Many Looters and Thives like Mughals and British came to India and ruled India for many Years. At that time the land area of India was very big in size. British divided India into 8 countries. India, Pakistan,Nepal, Bhutan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Myanmar,Srilanka. Also British colonized India and looted many expensive statues , Kohinoor diamond, 45 trillion dollars etc. Currently British museums are full of Indian loots. The Diamond on the crown of Queen Victoria belongs to India.🙄

Well, many people are curious why a lot of Indians speak English a lot..... Well, historically this is the reason.... We were forced to learn English and incooperate into our lifes when the Mughal Empire collapsed and the British took over during the vacuum of power..... Obviously English wouldn't have been the international norm if Britian wasn't the conquerer and 75% of all the resources that they stole overall were from India itself compared to rest of their colonies.... Indian soldiers were sent to fight in the Opium Wars and steal Hong Kong from China ( basically only the commanders were British, the suppliers of Opium and the soldiers were all Indian, my 2x greatgrandpa was forced to plant Opium to smuggle it to China for the British or they threatened to imprison and torture him ) , conquer Africa during the scramble and the World Wars..... India was such a significant colony for British because without India, Britian wouldn't have had such a significance during the last century....

The Indian subcontinent was home to the most ancient & prosperous civilization with a rich heritage for the most part of the human history, around 1000 years ago it started going downhill with invasions with brutal destruction & imposition& then 200 years of colonization where they divided, demoralized & ruled India, distortion of history & scriptures was mainly done by missionaries & people who couldn't accept the fact that there was such an advanced civilization way before them, all this didn't end even after independence as the leaders were influenced by Britishers which made sure India doesn't progress in the future as well.

The British looted our wealth about 47 trillion USD$ which was used in development or British empire and Britain. Even though if they repay it what about the 35million people who lost their life for independence..? Can they pay the value of the lives of the martyrs..?? We'll never forget never forgive.. 🇮🇳❤🇯🇵

A few days ago White House press secretary Jen Psaki reacted to India buying Russian oil by saying that "Where do you want to stand when history books are written", Western hypocrisy has no end, I guess you should show them Nami chan's reaction they would realize history books are written and at that time you supported the oppressor with self-thought, but now even though India stays neutral and is buying oil for discounted prices as its own interest we are the bad guys, hypocrisy ki bhi seema hoti hain

Actually we also don't learn much about Japan's history in India. In CBSE board ( up to class 10) the only mentioned history of Japan was the century old cultural exchanges between us and the involvement of Japan in World War II and the devastating atom bomb incident, thats all. I don't expect East Asians to know much about colonization of India but what's shameful is that the British people don't learn about the shameful act of their ancestors in school and they don't even acknowledge this history. Moreover their media always brags about British aid whenever our government takes a step which is against their interest also they keep on focusing only on the negative sides one-dimensionally. The BBC while reporting about the Chandrayan-II questioned if India should focus on space missions rather than building toilets! I hate this extreme biasness of the west.
