Love the videos, I'm fairly new to judo and you have helped me a lot. Would love to see a ya ura nage or seoi otoshi vid.

My 7 year old just learned drop seio nagi and he loves how much leverage he can get in a throw. I’m gonna show him this and he’s gonna flip

Another excellent video. Where did you get the kohaku obi? I am rokudan USA Judo and can only find the wide, stiff. so-called deluxe obis. I wear an obi with narrow red and white sections (karate and jujutsu style} but have been unable, so far, to find regular sized panels and normal width together in a single obi.

can you go over any tsukuri differences between seoi otoshi, seoi nage, morote seoi nage, also is it seoi otoshi when dropping to only one knee? Does it matter if your foot is inside or outside like tai otoshi?

Yeah, I'm very curious about the big differences between standing and otoshi. I really liked the joint video with Travis Stevens where they talked about the standing ippon seoi nage and gluing your back to their chest. Would love to see a similar deep dive into morote seoi nage and/or sode. For example, what criteria do you need before you can lift the opponent? How do you keep them from countering? (stepping around, dropping the hips, taking the back, etc.)

Hahaha that's so good advice, they tell you to do that in Krav Maga and Bajiquan haha. In Bajiquan, there's a stance literally called "Groin Guard Fist" so badass amd silly LOL
