They should have these kinds of apartments in the States for young adults and the elderly. It would solve some major living situations and safety hazards. Especially for the elderly. They would be well protected in their homes, and not worry about having to clean. Kudos to Japan!

We do have them in the states. They just are not called apartments. The utilities, cleaning, internet, parking etc. are included in the price. They are frequently used when housing is needed until the person's housing is ready/available.

I'm always impressed by the things that are in Japanese apartments. I'd love to have a heating function in my bathroom to warm it up and to dry my clothes. I really like your apartment and I think I would be quite comfortable living in a space like this! Cheers from 🇨🇦😊

A cleaning tip: if you have to remove something tacky like stickers that leaves a sticky mess, as Lou just did, when you need to remove velcro…loads of things. All you need to do is pull off the item, say Lou pulls off the Velcro and it’s sticky on the door, apply spray furniture polish and rub with some fabric, a dish cloth, washcloth/flannel, tea towel etc then rub firmly. There you go the sticky mess is gone. It’s it’s very sticky it may take a couple of tries

Lou, I have a suggestion for your umbrellas. Your backpack and purses are large enough to hold an umbrella. Put one in each bag and you’ll always have one with you. The umbrellas come with covers so once you shake them off you can recover them and put them back in your bag. They can be dried out in your drying area if they need to be. Just a thought. Waiting to hear about your job interview.

Hi Lou, USA 🇺🇸 Missouri here. Your apartment looks wonderful. Since my hubby and I retired, we bought a new house in the country, it’s in a retirement community. I really like it here. The only problem was trying to fit 50 years of marriage into a small house. I wish we had more storage space. Our last house had 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, family room, living room, dining room and recreation room. We now have a kitchen/dining room and living room that is combined, 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Things are different and yet the same all over the world. I’ve learned storage tips from you. Makes my life easier…thank you. Take care.

I love their apartment floor plans. It’s rather small compared to North America but tons of super functional build in like bath temperature control, small cupboards specifically designed for condiments beside stove and the shower-toilet seat🚽! (The best part)

American here and what an amazing apartment with so many included benefits!! I’m super shocked. 😳 In America you move into an apartment most likely it is supplied with nothing, zero! If it supplied with anything it’s the junk of the previous tenant who didn’t want to haul it to the dump… 😂

You should break down all of those appliance boxes you keep and lay them flat. They won’t take up so much room, you could use for other things!

Listen Lucy! Each box can be carefully opened, flattened, and folded back again when needed. This way, you can store a ton of boxes together in a small space. I recommend putting a strong adhesive tape right next to it. All the best…..Eszter

Hi Lou! Thanks for letting us see your new apartment. In some ways, its superior to similar sized American ones, which are often in old buildings. When I was your age, i had an old studio apt in downtown Seattle, where the old gas stove blew up in my face and singed my eyebrows. It had an in wall Murphy bed from 1910! Now, 40 years later its been remodeled to $1 million condos.

Честно говоря, мне эта временная квартирка показалась немного лучше, чем твоя предыдущая!!! Пусть она и меньше, но уютней, удобней, больше техники всякой полезной здесь как-будто!!! Понравилось, что телевизор напротив спальни!!!👌 Понравилась сушка одежды в ванной, подогрев унитаза, подогрев и автоматический набор воды в ванной итд. Понравился гриль, встроенный в плиту!!! Да много чего!!! Ты - молодец, что такая аккуратная, хозяйственная, столько посуды у тебя, приправ итд. Молодец, что такая самостоятельная, умная!!! Понравилась твоя полка для специй, которую ты собрала сама!!! 👍 Здорово, что твои подписчики тебя вдохновляют и поддерживают, но не забывай, что ты и сама - мотивация и вдохновение для многих своих подписчиков!!! 🤗 Надеюсь, что все твои планы исполнятся!!! 🙏🙏🙏

Hi Lou. Your apartment is so cute & very efficient. You can always get some of that removable contact paper to put on the end table, then you can remove it (w/out damaging the surface) when you move out. I did that to my kitchen counter in my last apartment because I wanted to counter to look like marble & the removable paper was what I used.

Your temporary accommodations are so fantastic. Very functional and very clean. You were lucky to find it. I wish you well in your job search. When you pull out the bottom sliding drawer all the way out of your spice cabinet, be careful not to scratch the metal cabinet top- you might be responsible for any damages. It was hard to tell if the front of the slider leaned on the end of the counter. If so- some adhesive felt can be secured to underneath the drawer. 😍😀

The apartment is very efficient with your help. Just a quick note, please be careful when using the gas burner that is close to the storage cabinet. I'm afraid the metal cabinet will get very hot! Hope the job search is going well.

Your new storage for your kitchen is really lovely BUT don't you think with it being metal that it will get red hot to the touch because it is so close to your gas cooker ring? Do you have a fridge/freezer? Your temporary apartment is really so nice and self sufficient, you are blessed to have such a lovely clean fresh home to live in and all encapsulated in safety and security........God Is Good! xx Jean from Scotland.

Your apartment is very nice. You are so tidy. The pkace looks spotless. If the table is yours, perhaps you can take it outside and spray paint the top. I use spray paint frequently to "freshen up scratched up & older items." A little spray paint can make amazing difference. Its inexpensive & easy/quick.
