Not going to lie, I got a little teary eyed at this. Studying Japanese is one of the only things that brings me a lot of joy right now but I don't feel like I have any big dreams or any path in life. I'm going to graduate college soon and I'm so scared of the future. I understood a lot of video without subtitles and the fact that even people in different parts of the world speaking entirely different languages are experiencing similar feelings made me feel a lot less alone. ありがとうございます ;w;

Same goes with me . I also don't have any destiny. I also started learning Japanese languages from dulingo and I am also going to get graduate soon.After 1yr .Don't known what to do after this. Let it be sometimes I think Let's enjoy the learning process. You don't want to lose nor win. Just enjoy the learning process. Where there is no will there is the way. You all came so far don't demotivated yourself. Gamarebous 😊❤

Hello guys, i just want to say that i really feel you, well actually i didn't graduate from college and i started learning Japanese almost two years ago and i feel like it's the only thing that motivates me it's kind of my 生きがい right now. I'm in my early 30's and still didn't figure out a lot in my life (i don't even know if this could be considered as a dream but..) i hope to find a good job and be financially independant someday. It will get better guys you are not alone❤

I can so relate to this. For me, i had such big ambitions when i was a child. But now, being an adult and have gone tgrough depressing times, those small dreams that i have, they help me look forward to the next day and hope things will be okay!

I can relate to this. For me, part of it was having dreams that I know teachers wouldn't approve of. I still do. Something like a "comfortable life, where I can make decisions easily, and not be limited by money" would be my big dream. But if I know that I put that on a school assignment the teacher would get really upset and argumentative.

Then that teacher sucks. A good teacher would turn that into a great moment to get you to strive for something, maybe show how artists can draw what they want or how musicians create music they are proud of. Scientists researching fields they find fascinating or tinkerers making what they love. A good teacher would show all the ways even that goal alone can give you a direction. Btw, I think most people have that dream, it's just they found what they love can make them money.

@@ForgedinPrint When I said the teacher would get upset and argumentative, I meant that they would do that.
