I find it funny on comments that find it disgusting or "how could somebody think that was a good idea to eat." Yet, they probably come from a place where oyster and clam is eaten normally. And really they aren't much different in terms of texture and appearance. At least not the parts you eat.

Snails are good tank cleaners, they clean the poo and decayed material that accumulates. Thus, why I'd never eat one, especially raw. ;) Thumbed up anyway, cause sushi is still fun to eat and watch prepared.

Just started following your channel. About the japanese street food, do the seafood dishes (sushi, sashimi etc) get prepared by those who sell the live seafood to you? Or is there an adjacent restaurant/mini food place/side stall that cooks the dish after you’ve selected the fish/sea creature? Like do the restaurant and fishmonger have some sort of business where they work together? Because from where i’m from, i’ve seen restaurants who work with fishmongers or at least they are both owned by the same person/group.
