Hi.. Greetings from Indonesia. Fruits and veggies are cheaper here but the quality cannot beat yours. Cup noodle less than 100 yen. Salmon and high quality fish are more expensive in my country. Love your videos ❤

Hi Yuki! Poland here. For me is shocking fish in Japan are much cheaper than in Poland. Salmon, tuna, trout, burbot, perch, zander etc. are kinda expensive. Sea food too. We eat a lot pork and chicken meat. Beef can be expensive. Supermarkets are similar to yours but we have Polish and European stuff mostly. Exotic products can be expensive by import and customs matters

Thanks for watching from Poland🙏 Compared to other countries, I am surprised that Japanese fresh fish is cheap. Pork and chicken are cheap in Japan, but beef is expensive. You have a lot of European things, so I'd like to go there.

Greetings from Ukraine! I really want to see Japan with my own eyes one day. You have so many incredible products and dishes, I am in awe. Thanks for the video! add: The organization of supermarkets is common in most countries, as I see. It is interesting to observe that the number of slices is marked on Japanese bread, and eggs are also sold in packs of 4. In my country, eggs make up a large part of the diet, so they are not sold by 4 pieces, but usually by 10-20 or more. The package of bread also usually has many slices without specifying the number. I think this is due to the fact that most people do family shopping. When I lived alone, it was not convenient for me to buy large bread and it spoiled. and the sale of vegetables and fruits in Ukraine is similar to Korea, as I understood from the comment below)

thank you for watching from ukraine❤ Please come and visit Japan! In Japan, the maximum number of eggs is 10😂😂 Ukrainian food uses a lot of eggs, so I'm very interested! Please continue to let me know in the comments!

Beef is sold by weight here, but it is also expensive except beef trimmings with lots of fat. It's very delicious when made into vegetable stir fry or spicy curry, but we can't eat that often, right? 😆 It's very tiring to cook after work here too 😥 Many people here usually buy McDonalds; there'll be a long line in the drive-thru after working hours. As for me, I usually whip up something easy like fried rice or simple noodle soup, or I'll just buy fried rice from a restaurant close to our house 🤭

I'd like to buy it at the meat sale. Not available in Japanese grocery stores. McDonald's is popular in Japan, but few people eat it often. It's because there are a lot of people who think about their health😂

Nice video!!! But lots n lots of plastic.... Plastic plastic everywhere... So do u have a concept of using less plastic there... I mean recently saw majority of plastic on beaches and in sea is from japan... I wish they have cloth bags to carry goods n paper packages instead of plastic wrappers
@Toknowaboutjapan-cp7dg
@Toknowaboutjapan-cp7dg Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching❤❤❤ It's true that a lot of plastic is used. Currently, grocery stores in Japan do not give you shopping bags. The whole country is taking measures to put it in your own bag and go home. For the sake of the environment, I also think it would be better if there were less! Please keep watching the video🙏🙏🙏

Paper packaging does not keep moisture, grease etc and is not hygienic. Food packaging is not the biggest problem in the world since it's a necessary thing, what is a problem however is the gazillions of tons of plastic clothing (polyester etc) which is in no way necessary, discarded way too fast due to trends etc, and which also causes pollution by microplastics every time people wash them; and all the useless plastic junk like souvenirs, toys, pointless decor, accessories, and knicknacks nobody needs. Yet somehow people always react to food packaging and plastic bags (which can be used as garbage bags and if people don't get them from buying their groceries they still need to buy them as garbage bag rolls 🙄 and using a cloth bag does not really help if you buy plastic clothing or useless plastic stuff to put in it) and not all the tons of cute stationery, accessories, clothing etc. I hope Japan will keep its hygienic food packaging and people would invent a good biodegradable plastic type instead in the near future. I hear there is something like that brewing already. And/or people would figure out a really working recycling system.
