Tron Legacy is an underrated masterpiece in my opinion. I’m going into this new film, though with extreme, cautiousness and skepticism given Disney’s track record for the past decade.

I love that movie to death, but there is no denying that it has major issues. I severely doubt the main dude was casted due to his acting abilities, and I know it wasn't the director's fault, cause that dude just did Top Gun Maverick

Saw Tron: Legacy in 3D XD when 3D was making it's return to theaters. It was quite an experience! The visuals plus the music, I was glad I didn't miss it!

"Dillinger" on the disc plate. Makes me wonder how much the Dillinger family name will influence the plot. (Kevin Flynn's business rival from Tron 1 Ed Dillinger; and Ed Jr. Briefly in Legacy)

Tron Legacy is very under rated. I thought it was actually a pretty deep movie if you can get past some of the poor cgi. And a great soundtrack.

In my opinion it’s a masterpiece. The art department created a stunning, one of a kind, immersive world. Daft Punks score was flawless and made the visuals palpable. Perfectly conveying the emotions of the scene. The writers were die hard fans of the original and it’s obvious. It didn’t need a though provoking story so they delivered one that was easy to follow, with action, adventure, chills and thrillers. A rollercoaster from beginning to end. Crazy that it took 10 years for audiences to catch up and fall in love with it.

Regardless of the role Jared's playing, I suspect they wouldn't be able to afford Cililan Murphy (who played Dillinger Jr in Tron Legacy), except for perhaps a cameo "evil guy pulling the strings" role, given his atomic and finally recognized success from the big "O". Perhaps if Tron Ares does well enough they can invest the money to bring back Murphy in a final showdown, John Wick 4 type scenario...

As a supporting actor I’ve liked Jared Leto in movies like Panic Room and Lord of War, but I agree, I don’t see him as a lead. He’s just pretty odd and doesn’t come across as very likeable in real life.

Jared gets WAY too much flack as an actor just cause of Morbius and Joker. He proved in the Snyder cut he could be a good joker and he wasn't even the problem in Morbius....y'all ever seen Mr Nobody? Fight Club, Blade Runner......etc...

I am disappointed that Bruce and Cindy didn't get the chance to reprise their roles as Tron and Yori in Tron Legacy. Yes tron was in the film for a little bit, but wasn't in it enough IMO.

I really doubt if this movie goes to theaters that it will have a strong first weekend. The only hope I have of it doing well is that it is an actually superb movie and that the internet will do internet things and force people to go to the movies to watch this thing.

As someone who barely cared about Tron ever, I watched the original and sequel at least once. I played kh2 at least twice. It basically doesn’t count. Just make the movie great. A love story is a pretty basic trope to nail for success. Do better than tron 2… please.

Who keeps letting this legitimately old man, who makes bad Movius, that don’t do well be in big movies?… .. is he paying for part of the movies to be made, and paying for distribution and advertising; while also promising to continue to pay annuities over time just to put him in movies?.. maybe gave them the rights to his previous works, royalties, and residuals?.. hell, maybe even offered to sweep the Disney lot until it makes at least 200 mil + in profits, and of that doesn’t work he’s signed away the lives of all his illegitimate children…

i saw the first Tron in the movie theater when it came out but it was also a revolution of how 3D can look. the 2nd part was super bad...and unnecessary. I don't know what the point of making a 3rd part is, the story is already told with the first part. And really, who is still interested in Tron? Gen Z have no idea what it is...

Tronbius- this is DOA. With Disney's current quality of out.put. The.cast is awful. Tron was a really big inspiration when I was young and Syd Meads designs were first class. The last movie was fun and did 3d well when that was still a thing. I couldn't be less bothered about this. You couldn't pay me to watch anything with this cast and made by that studio.
