I have a mk4 2006 golf tdi bew engine, had no coms to the tcm, the 5 pin of the Grey connector in the plenum protective housing wire fell out, I put it back in and got this immobiser problem with all the problems u described at the beginning of the video, think this will help but in advance to to say thank you for all ur help, im donating to u for all the extra hard work u put in for us little people, love u vids, u are awesome

Hrm, going to add this to my no-start issues -- *really* check the fuses first, and note any discolouration along with corrosion. Most of my woes have been weak starters or batteries in poor condition. Since I bought a few TDIs that have sat, to repair back up, I'll be looking *carefully* at the fusebox and grounds for corrosion on those as I start reviving them. Looking forward to the next video to see what the solution is.

2010 VW Passat No problem starting as long as outside temp is around 70 degrees F or below(starts every time). Once the car sits in the heat, car will not start and I get a "Immoblizer Active" error comes on and the car will not start.

One guy just replaced 1 10amp fuse then the problem went away. Other guy replaced an entire ECM unit to erased ECM problem went away. Other video the dude replace ECM relay #460 then problem solved.

I just fixed a problem with my headlight a few days ago, it was a lightly corroded fuse.

Have a 2002 or 03 Passat with IMMO issues. Body shop had thought the immo coil with a key, used would work but I sadly told them no unless there's something I'm unaware for a solution to immo not working. Removed ECM , have here at house as customer wants the immo deleted on it or turned off as I call it. It's a Bosch unit with ME7.5. Any recommendations on software, hardware to use? I have a few Eeprom readers but would rather do it via OBD port if I can find a pinout chart and the proper software. IF you could point me to some resources that would be great and I can move towards the next step. Being the body shop (towing company also) owns it they just want the immo off to get better money for it. The car was the daughters boyfriends car. They found him a newer car already so they just want to be able to get better money for this car if possible.

The Jar Head license plate with German umlauts is comically lame to anyone that understands German. It reads phonetically like YA-AIR HEYYD, It sounds just as stupid in German as it does in English.
