Did not realize they changed the matchmaking, and no wonder I’ve been struggling online lately. I currently sit at around 116,000 TP as a month old player, but it’s really thanks to the fact that the first character I tried out carried hard (Jun) and now whenever I try to play a different character (I’m just bouncing between characters at this point, trying to find one I like), I just get matched up against someone who’s actually earned their TP. I get that it’s my fault for letting myself be carried early on, and I know I’ve barely played for a month, but it is still frustrating to lose that hard just because I’m trying to get a feel for the game and its characters and I’m not playing a character that’s carrying hard anymore

You can always do Quick Play, or go to the tekken lounge and scout out more rank appropriate players to fight.

Because sadly people think rank=skill. Yes if you are skilled you are skill eventually reach a high rank but a high rank doesn't mean you have skills.

Because for some reason there's STILL no punishment for leaving a ranked game via disconnect. Literally all they need to do is make it so that the player that disconnects gets a loss for the game they were in like every other game.

Bunch of scrubs got to high ranks by plugging every time they'd lose, and they somehow believe just having that rank makes them good. Ranks have been super inflated in T8 too, so plenty of players at Tekken King rank arent even that good
