The kitchen angles are very dimensional. Blended with the lounge area, doesn’t seem like you’re in a van. Really great build, bravo man. You’re one of those cats that never runs out of ideas

I have watched a lot of van builds but this is by far my best design. I have always loved murphy beds as opposed to sofa conversions or the permanent ones that usually seem a bit too high to climb into and tight. The kitchen here feels like heaven. So much space for work and move around. In fact, this is a studio apartment on wheels. Thank you so much for sharing. Love this ❤

I love the murphy bed, it keeps people from sitting where your head lays. Also the bed at the front would make me feel safer, with the cab right there. Plus the fact you don't have to worry about rain coming in the the back onto your bed. The Shower is a great idea for placement This is one of those ideas I have had.

Definitely top 3 best layouts I’ve ever seen. Came up with ideas I’ve never seen and he was honestly checking all the boxes especially with the shower set up 😂

You could add a trailer hitch mount with 2-3 bar stool mounts so people can sit at you cooktop height and have a drink.

Keon, your van is spectacular! So much fun in a short-ish van! Would love to see what is involved in setting up the shower though. As a female, the only thing that's missing for me is a hanging closet, but on the other hand, you have the best kitchen I have ever seen in a van, no matter what the size! Great job! If you were in the UK, I'd be more than interested in your van!

Love the shower under the corner sofa cushion & the cassette toilet under the bench across from it. My complaints were always "where's the toilet?" and "I want access to & from the cab" for emergencies. THIS is PERFECT! I love it!

I love the layout but I have a few issues with it: The shower pan needs to be dry or else the cushions, etc could take on moisture and develop mold. I'd apply some forced air sucking moisture out of the shower pan area, just like for a composting toilet, so that the pan can be bone dry even if you use it every day. If the cushions and bed are marine grade that should make them more resistant but I still don't want to risk it for anything inside the van. The skylight, which is absolutely brilliant and great fung shui from it's location, really ought to open up for even more space and ventilation from the showers, as well as providing roof access from inside, and I would have sized things so that you can shove one of those cushions up there to act as insulation if you travel to anywhere cold. You ought to add a locked gate to the garage, just to deter even the thought that someone could sneak up and take your monowheel while you're cooking. Finally, I would add a latch and a pole hidden behind the kitchen console so that you can open and close the back doors from inside, and I would rest the pole horizontally on a hinged shelf in the swing path of the doors so it can keep the doors open in case of wind. Overall, this is an absolutely BRILLIANT build and I will be stealing a lot from this design :p Ps: you are charging too little. There is another excellent build with a Murphy bed and hidden shower that was SOLD for 155k! I would put your design right up there with that one... yours has a little more storage, theirs has a direct walk path from side to back.

That van has a fabulous layout, well thought out. Only thing missing for me is maybe a max fan. Really liking his shower & toilet & how they are incorporated into the furniture but the bath mat slit is what its about!! Best of luck to Keon & his mad vibes, he seems like a fun character. I think this is one of the best van builds I've seen! You can easily do the 3-S's [sh*t, shower, shave], sleep comfortably, but not have to make your bed every morning, and a GREAT kitchen for those of us who LOVE to cook!!

I love this setup. I always wanted an L shaped sectional and a Murphy bed inside a van. I also have to take showers everyday due to being a young woman. I love that the bathroom is hidden and you have so much space to workout in the van. I want to get a portable treadmill for cardio and play my Shawn T Max 30 videos on the TV. The kitchen is just perfect! I love to cook healthy foods and love to eat my money 😂. Thank you for sharing your vision with us. ❤

A 6×5 Murphy bed is big enough for two adults or 1 chihuahua. Lol. Love this out of the box design. I don't remember where I saw it but I saw a lady who had a sound booth in the back of her van. She's a voice actress. Everything else including her shower was in front of it. She did skylight instead of windows. I'm with Keon. I like the Promaster.

Loved the first build and LOVE LOVE the second one even more. The new layout is incredible. Love how you hid the shower and the toilet. You have it when needed but it doesn't have to be on display when you don't. Love the Murphy bed. The kitchen is gorgeous and perfect for doing some real cooking. This is a fabulous design, I love it! I love the electrical too! The shower system is brilliant, the inside shower is a marvel and the other two shower spots are just darned clever. I definitely approve of the door into the cab. One of the best things about a van is being able to drive away from trouble. The Murphy bed looks so cozy and comfortable. I think this van is a brilliant work of art!

I remember the Brooklyn Loft! Love the U shape in the back, there was another tour you did with a girl that was using it as a bed and had stairs going up etc. If I ever become a nomad I am doing a U shape 100%. Question, where does he store his clothes etc. Cabinets above kitchen?

When I was sitting at the Dream Inn in Santa Cruz, I sat down on the couch and it was just like that looking out over the ocean. I thought if I could get a converted van just like this that’s all I need. I love that he’s not losing space and making it claustrophobic by having a shower, permanent shower. And I like the safety of the closed off cab they have that in European designs. I wonder if you could have the Murphy bed and the other bed so that you could have like a bunkbed? That is perfect. I’d love to have the rest of the back for a closet hanging closet

That shower is awesome, when I was thinking of a shower it was similar ideal but a slide out whereas this is so much smarter lol.

Well done Keon. Really changed the game with that layout. I didn't know how to feel about it at first but after seeing the large bed and the ability to still have a shower really made it make sense.

I just bought a used dodge 3500 159 EXT normal roof height. I filled my house with thrift shop used furntiure and i decided on recycling it into the van. Im turning the thrift shop solid wood bedroom set into the kitchen and had all ready decided to use the back for this because i wanted to use the double doors back there to place a canaopy and have a drop down table . Watching this video showed me i made the right choice. Not sure yet how im going to set up the front half of the van for bed/ sitting area. Cant wait to start on it end of this month. So excited. Visiting parents out of state, drive from AZ to MI will be its maiden run.

This is a smart layout. I like how the bed is by the sliding door. Reason why that is smart. Sleeping by the driver seat. Sleeping and relaxing by the open sliding door. Better way to chill. Using the back as a kitchen is cool. But living in a van I would love a restroom. U shape kitchen is great to cook for a group.

This is a great build. I LOVE, LOVE the murphy bed. Beds take up too much space, most people want to just sit down and relax, take a nap maybe and watch tv. Great set up! The kitchen is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! I remember how you mentioned in the last video that you like keeping clean. Like that the shower is tucked away and there when you need it. Even better is the emergency door to the cab area. Privacy and a definite separate space from the living area.

The only thing I would change is that I would make all the kitchen waterproof, put a place where water can leave and buy one of of those faucets that you can pull and are really long. That way you can instal the faucet on the ceiling I you get a huge and easier bathroom. You may also want to add a shower curtain or something between the kitchen and the bad. Also, the toilet would be better on a drawer under the sink, that way you don't need to put the bed up to use it late at night and is a great way to use the space under the sink. Plus you can wash your hands closer to it.

I really like this! You actually have a suitable place to lounge. So many setups don’t have this in a van. Sure you can lounge outside, but if it’s raining or at night late, you want to do that inside. Only thing I would update is in the kitchen. I would have had the countertop next to tv be a fold down table with no cans below. That way you could eat there with some stools. Closet for close would be under couch.

He and his van are adorable. I love how he showed us the different sitting and resting positions on his awesome couch. The kitchen is to die for. I wonder if he could hire an artist to make some kind of appropriate design on the underneath of the murphy bed. This would be better featured in a beautiful park of San Diego.

Fabulous design rethink. I've been part time van living for decades and altho my van kitchen Osgood....yours takes the cake! At last..a van kitchen that's truly functional and has enough space to actually prep for a meal. Well done you!

I love several things about this build. If I had to make only one change it would be to move the refrigerator to the passenger side wall. That way you can have more garage storage space underneath the back facing countertop.

Love the Murphy bed in a Van. Because the bed take useful space in steady mode. And he left that intelligent option for take a quick nap. The shower is and perfect for the space. Only to think. I think that he can add some gabinet on the back below the stove and right corner floor using retractable gained. Adding a grill. Also. Uff a roof top. But congratulation you are my favorite in space design. Space for people and the counter 👏 very greate job. job.

In our pandemic age, I now always take into consideration whether or not I could comfortably hang out in a van space for an extended time. This would be a fine option! I love the lounge, murphy bed, and especially the kitchen at the back. You could still scoot up and out the back if needed 😄.

I've seen seemingly a milllion van/bus conversions. This is definitely my favorite van build. Bus builds allow for more creativity and space which I really like, but if I were single in a van, this would 100% be my layout of choice.
