Not quite Best Friend Day, but when I was in 5th grade my school did have a Twin Day spirit day, where everyone in school was encouraged to get a partner and dress the same as them that day. Luckily my teacher had the foresight to realize something like that could happen, so when the spirit day was announced she got up and said we were all going to show the rest of the school how awesome we were by all doing the Twin Day as a class and had us go into a class activity to find our partner and decide what we were going to wear. That way she was right there when I started crying because I couldn't find anyone and it seemed totally reasonable to the rest of the class that she would start asking around to find someone to be my partner. I still felt bad about needing her help at all, but it went way better than it might have otherwise.

Chat gets offended at every little mistake and joke Jarvis makes (Ex: when he tried to joke he was a actor in the video) but they are okay with making fun of the kid Jarvis thought had facial hair.

Low-key, teachers are so out of touch regarding the dynamics between students. Especially when it comes to bullying. They create situations that are ripe for embarrassment. I sat in my teacher's classroom during lunch in HS. I wasn't bullied, I just have severe social anxiety and couldn't sit in a cafeteria. One of my friends came with me because all her other friends had a different lunch period than us. Otherwise no one would have sat with me. Which is sad but it was like 8 years ago so I'm over it... *she says while she internalizes it*

We had a kid that acted like the "bully" in this video equally as annoying on a daily basis in and out of school literally tormenting any one he could. I was overweight and wore purple a lot. He started a "grape ape" chant on the bus lol uhhgg 🤦. I ended up having quite the glow up over the next 2 years. At a different school we ran into each other on the bus after those 2 yrs and he did not recognize me at all.. He sat next to me talked all the way to school then asked me out so i agreed. After a few weeks he made a big gesture infront of all our friends and other kids at lunch with a ring, present , flowers and asked me to be his official girlfriend. I pulled an old pic of myself from my purse and told him "grape ape" could never love someone like him!!!! My personal friends died laughing and anyone who put it together told me how bad ass i was for turning him down. His life went down hill he kept being shitty to everyone. He now is 42, bald, missing teeth, and living at his moms.. I wonder how life would have been different for him had he been a good person.??
