I like how Mr.Phil is honest, like how he gets his cup of coffee&he is ready,my late dad was a retired FiireChief of WestMonroe,La.&a 1968Combat Vietnam Vet.&he thought a lot of Mr.Phil Robertson. The Robertson family are truely Christian's&good people Willie went out of his way years ago at the local grocery store to make my son feel important to him&signed a Eotech ballcap for him I thought that was cool.

Cathy's story really hit home. I was diagnosed with breast cancer a few years ago and only by the grace of God, was healed. if the cancer returns, I pray that I will be able to follow the example Cathy set. in the meantime, I'm doing my best to trust God and learn/memorize scripture to get me through the tough times. I admire the consistency of the Robertson family. they have preached the same message through all the years: love God and neighbors, preach the gospel, repeat as necessary.

I just discovered your podcasts a few days ago and I truly enjoy them, but today's show was a huge turning point for me. My husband went home 18 years ago and, even though I know in my head where he is and that he is with God, you folks explained death in such a way today that this is the first time I've truly felt at peace with it. I feel like the words and the promise of God finally sank in. I can't thank you for sharing your understanding of God with all of us. I feel so blessed to have found your podcasts.

I am sure they do! I'll share a story about my atheist (I am the only Christian) family. Atheists only care about 2 things: Money and Comfort. When my Grandma passed away they shipped her ashes to her close relatives back east, didn't even bother to say goodbye or have a service. I also got the impression that they wanted something from her, like money or property. She rightfully didn't give it to them, she was a smart lady! Sure they had a service for my Dad but they only liked him because he was a money-maker. Greed is a sign of a condemned family. I am praying that my nieces don't get "sucked into" the lifestyle of greed or at least they'll see it for what it is and they'll leave that lifestyle.

Hearing Jase talk about the funeral touched my heart. I thought I have lost so many family members, but now that I am a “young” Christian (50), I now know they aren’t lost to me! I WILL see them again as long as I continue to walk with God. Our bodies will be healed, they will be cancer free, and we will all rejoice in the name of Jesus!! I am so glad I found Mr Phil’s Unashamed podcast! Praise God for the Robertson family! I have been so confused when it comes to reading the Bible, but now I am so excited to read it that I don’t even put it away anymore! I am beyond thankful and yes, I am Unashamed!!🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼

Jase glad you preached the woman’s funeral. I preached at my dads funeral & my cousins wife Came to the Alter & was saved right beside my dads casket! Now tell me that’s not the power of life in death in Gods Devine plan. My dad was a minister of the gospel for 45 + years & it was a great tribute to him to have a woman give her heart to Christ right beside his casket. I preached the 2nd message & the head pastor of the funeral was shouting & praising God & he in his 80’s said I’ve been pastoring 60 some years & never seen a salvation happen beside the casket at a funeral I was preaching or attending!! I said my dad was a powerful man of God & who knows it could’ve been my dads wish with God that someone in his family be saved all way down to the day he was put in the ground.! ?

My husband passed away 3 years ago of heart failure (he was 45, I was 33). I am a Christian and so was he. I have no doubt that he's in heaven. However, no one has ever thoroughly explained our death and resurrection with Christ like yall just did!!! Thank you so much for this.

My dad passed away 5 years ago at the age of 62 from cancer. We found out that he had stage 4 cancer only 2 months before he died. He was a man after God's own heart and was an example of Jesus's love to everyone he met. 500 people attended his funeral at a church built for 300. There was standing room only, even out into the foyer. I have struggled in my grief of losing my Daddy. Hearing this podcast has helped me to understand that my dad was like Kathy, in his view of his impending death. I have also been struggling with my commitment to fellowship with the body of Christ, and have not attended a church service in about 2 years. It was too painful for me because of so many memories uncovered my deep feelings of loss of my dad every time I went to church. God has been working on my heart, and I am seeking to bring my 2 young sons and myself back into the fold. Please pray that my husband's social anxiety will no longer be an obstacle to my family attending church together. In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

really though? as a Catholic you should know the importance of a Catholic funeral, and not fall into the "he's in heaven, drinking beer with Jesus" protestant tripe. Certainly hell exists and people do go there, but not in protestant America, everyone is strumming guitars singing kumbaya. what poor souls must be in purgatory, with nobody to pray for them or remember them because everyone just assumes heaven. we need to fight the fight for souls while we are still breathing. And since God works outside of time, it still does good to pray for the dead, even if family.

Last week I started Episode 1 & working my way to present. I'm like the lady you just mentioned who came to your church from New York/Fla. I'm Phil's age (btw, is there a story behind why you call him Phil & Miss Kay, not Dad & Mom?...might be in a later episode), live in Wilmington NC, highly susceptible to mosquitoes, & beach used to be my pastime. I'm in Bible Study Fellowship which will be in Genesis when/if we return in the Fall. Taking notes from y'all to prepare me. I have even shared your podcasts with my prayer warriors. Today is July 13 & y'all have helped me thru Covid! Love the stories y'all throw in between Bible Study. BLESSINGS!

Thanks guys. I had a bad day today. After listening to this story it made me realize how insignificant my problems are. Thanks for the inspiration. I needed that.
