He and Matt Mercer are my favorites for different reasons. Jason excels at casting and character development and then allowing the actors to really collaborate in where the story goes. Matt is great performing the NPC's and with his descriptions. Both are amazing with their mis en-scene. I've learned quite a bit from Jason watching LABN and NYBN.

Jason Carl is my personal favorite GM. The dark, rich, serious tone of his games is the perfect atmosphere for World of Darkness, and it's a very welcome contrast to the more lighthearted storytelling style of Mercer or Brennan. They're also great, but I greatly prefer the darker style. Jason, thanks for all the hard work you and your team put into these games.

Nah Aramius, Brennan Lee Mulligan is THE best on youtube. Jason is a close second and more subdued. If Brennan took a few Notes from Jason and vice versa, they would literally cause world-wide cranial blasts from the big-brainedness. The collected human mass would ascend to a higher pane and storytelling would be its conduit.

Jason is a Gentleman, not a "chad". He conducts himself gracefully, with elegance. He's not frightened about his feminine side. That's what makes him unique in his kind. A limited edition. An example to follow.

10:09 story telling gold. Balancing between rails and sand box IMHO is sign of a mature GM. Hopefully one day we can get Jason to teach a ST Master class. Watching LABN and NYBN has given me many ideas on how to make my campaigns more fun for my players. What I also appreciate about Jason is that he provides avenues for many voices to be heard and respects the audience and his actors enough to explore all aspects of their characters.

I'm so glad we have more "By Night" series, Jason has a way of really immersing us into the world of Night :D I would love to see a one-shot or mini series of CoS ran by Matt Mercer with Jason as one of the players, to me that would be fun! Also, Alex Ward, because we know how gloriously beasty he can be.

I like how wanting LAbyN and NYbyN, and these interviews, shows how much he's grown, also something I never get tired to highlight is that when he speaks Spanish is great. Finally, I'm glad that now he shows more ruthlessness when punishment is earned by the cast, that serves greatly to the story.

Vanivar and Victor, I'd love to see those two come back to season 3. Ultimately though, I love the anarch codery and can't wait to see more, especially Isaac. Great interview!

Honestly, while I would love to see Victor, I'd also love to see Walters as a different kindred, seeing him as the Gangrel warlord was something so I wanna see what else he can pull off

Someone at WoD has GOT to explain where these end caps are! They've been mentioned a handful of times now, but are nowhere to be seen on KZfaq. Are they shown during the live stream only? Please, I know I'm not the only one trying to figure this out!

Mystery solved. On the Discord Jason Carl posted that the end caps were the vignettes they had planned to record for each of the seasons but because of time and budget did not. So they don’t exist. I’m assuming they filmed seasons one and two simultaneously and meant to do them after the seasons were done, so Ash was referencing things that she thought would exist but had not been recorded yet.

This was their best season yet, but I have no idea where it's going to go after the coterie dissipated. I'm worried that none of them will work together after it has been completely disbanded. Season 3 will likely be wild and have a ton of cameos of Camarilla and Anarch working together.

No way they both aren’t freaked out by mesmerism given what they’ve seen and experienced of it

So if I was to guess, Rafferty is George Clooney (the silver hair and serious attitude favor him heavily) although I could see Michael Imperioli in the role as well. Renato is almost certainly Antonio Banderas, although a more modern pick would be Gael Bernal Garcia. Is Airbox Dave Bautista? Not sure, but that's the vibe I got. Lizzy gives off a Lizzy Caplan vibe ironically, but I am open to suggestions. Jason Carl is a phenomenal GM. Each show gives me new ideas for future games. Certainly I gotta learn to role with the punches more and follow through with "yes and, not no but..." I think that all newer GMs struggle with that. Btw, I think that we all know that once the cameras stopped rolling, Jason started dancing. How could he keep telling Ash no?

Fiona has the distinct advantage of being Ventrue, but LA By Night and this reveal brings up 2 theories that she thinks are true. One being perhaps the anarchs lucked out with the inquisition, and only her enemies remain in power, or Two, Nelly's Ghoul is a hunter, and the anarchs will eventually be taken down in a future attack.

My hatred and love for the ending… I legit desired far more content after the first season that I started eating la by night…and finally got through bloodlines which has driven me into needing more and more content lmao… I blame Jason…also am now curious when bloodlines 2 will come out or if the development is even moving forward since it has such a great game and table top role playing to grab from… also big desire for draw distance to get another visual novel

for some reason i never got into season 2 the characters do nothing for me. especially Xanders over the top portrayal of "Brawn" the "ive got your two dress codes right here" as he put up his fists turned me off in disgust. When are the season 1 characters coming back? and Hopefullly its not necessary to watch season 2 to catch up with Rey and Fuego and gang when they return!

I would give it another try; first few episodes the actors are just playing with their characters: throwing stuff at the wall seeing what sticks, being too much or not enough... I was not wild about the Camarilla coterie the first few episodes but they all grew on me (and into themselves!) around episodes 5 or 6. Their story lines are most definitely going to be intertwined going froward-- (minor spoilers) Khalida already has some one-sided beef with Fuego, Coco is straight-up coming for Argos (possibly by extension, Serif), and Isaac's actions at shipping company proved pretty titular in the final episodes of Season 2. I think it's gonna be necessary watch both seasons to make links in Season 3.
