Wow, Aabria walking through the hardships of being a venture in fuegos eyes is really fascinating, Fuego must feel inadequate compared to these other kindred around her being awesome, animalistic, or even have grotesque abilities, all she does is "mind attacks" but can't even use them effectively against other kindred. Just like how Rey should of been a Ventrue, I feel like Fuego would of liked being a Brujah more then Ventrue. She almost sounds jealous of Isaac being as collected as he is, and she has no real power or control atm.

Rey is a somewhat fascinating character. I think he's the youngest kindred yet the oldest person in the coterie and he's used to knowing the situation and what to expect, but it vastly underexperienced in kindred society. I'm interested in seeing what will finally humble him a bit so he stops overstepping

I agree, and on top of that his short temper. It's why I like the Rey and Fuego dynamic, and why I loved the scene with the security guard, Rey and Serif. Although, I also think that between Serif and Fuego, who seem to be more on the same page on the surface, there is more difference between them than they think. Looking forward to see that play out in the game as well.

@@suntiger745 Oh absolutely, Fuego seems more someone who just had 0 guidance in kindred society while Serif has had their toes dipped in, but was kept in the dark despite having a mentor (and rebelled too, ofcourse)

I really enjoy Fuego because she brings out the reason why i loved playing vampire, because you dont play a hero, you play a monster. And critical role is great and so is dimension20 but its still a bit to much Hollywood where there must be "justice" and "right and wrong" where the players needs to be the "good guy/girl". Fuego have killed two innocent people but in her eyes thats fine, and i love that the darkness is there. Explore the darker side of life, make us squirm and feel uncomfortable. More of that please!

Wow, very introspective view! 👍🏿 I was thinking a lot of that but didn’t know how to articulate it. When everyone has specific virtues and convictions like in VTM saying someone “good” or “bad” is very tricky, it’s more about what clashes with their convictions or humanity

Personally I think it's more challenging and nuanced to play a vampire trying to do good or cling to their humanity. It's pretty easy to go full beast/murder hobo. It's not particularly interesting to me.

@@viktorstagnetti7491 I don't really agree. The struggling kindred who want to stay human have been told a thousand times in vampire stories. Same as I enjoy watching breaking bad, or OZ and how you justify cruelty and how it becomes easier for each time you encounter it and where that road leads, that's interesting for me. I'm sure Fuego will start feeling the effects soon. Or the rest of the party will eventually have to reel her in. The whole reason why Vampire stands out in roleplaying games are because the much more darker theme and the fact that the beast is inside each character and everyone have to deal with it in different ways. Embrace it, or fight it.

I love the fact that Aabria has put logic and thought behind Fuegos sexuality. Makes it much more intriguing than, just because.

Fuego and Serif’s convictions and virtues are so interesting, and give their characters some great context and motivations that you only see indirectly like how Fuego gets quiet and apprehensive after her killing the guard and Fuego’s feeling about ghouls especially after Rey’s impulsive ghouling, really makes for some interesting dynamics since they all have to work together

You can never go wrong with Gangrel logo on a jacket. I actually like Fuego character because she is very surprising as a Ventrue. Serif is interesting

I had already made up my mind about this series, but the moment Fuego dominated that kine and put the gun under his chin, and pulled the trigger.... this is VTM. In the past this 'by night' series has really tried to walk the line of 'acceptability' and tried to make vampires palatable, and that is not authentic or interesting. Vampires in VTM are monsters, it should be uncomfortable at times. A monster wearing human skin. I often see people try to imply bad vampires that kill mortals are only the extremists, but that is not the case (humans kill humans all the time...). Anarchs and Camarilla are also predators and they have to drink blood of mortals all the time - this in itself pushes even the most humane into darkness, and this is what drew me to VTM in the first place. I saw people in chat say "is this a sabbat play through", that is ignorant to what VTM stories should be, imo, killing kine is routine for vampires.... it should be dark and brutal, and I LOVE it. I cant wait to see the conflict that occurs between the coterie because of the things Fuego does, this series is going to be SO good. Specifically I cant wait to see how Serif handles Fuegos actions, she seems to be a much more humane soul.

I have to echo somebody else and say that the sound is kinda low, but still hearable for me and it doesn't detract from the enjoyment of listening to the discussion :D And the companion show continues to be great with a lot of intriguing insight that lets me look at the scene from a different perspective. Keep up the good work and I hope the Club continues with the other seasons ;)

Agreed! I think Fuego explained it was an impulsive decisions from being told what to do but looks she regretted it after or definitely felt a certain way about it

I love this show! Getting all the insight into what the players are thinking when they make some of their more controversial story choices is fascinating. I'm also hardcore shipping Reygo lol. The chemistry between those two has been apparent since episode 1 and I'm interested to potentially see where a romance between the two characters could lead. It's interesting that Fuego and Rey are similar in regards to making impulsive choices despite the vast differences in their personalities. Also Fuego's comfortability towards violence can't hurt if your love interest prefers the alley cat feeding style. After all it can be viewed as a power game and Ventrues love power.

Loved the episode but not serif or Fuego. Ray was the only one thinking ahead of how not to lead the cops back to then. I loved Issac getting a bit upset with Rey but still trying to help him. I really like Issac and Rey. I hope Fuego and Serif can get it together soon otherwise it's going to cause problems.

Their all in char development and will have their ups and downs depending on the environment and context. Rey overstepped and caused more problems for the group in the first couple eps when it required to be more social savvy and I didn’t like him but he’s learning from his exps. With how quiet Fuego acted after her first kill we’ll probly see a change in how she approaches it later and same for the others

@@Peecamarke I didn't like how serif treated Ray when he came up with the solution to ghoul the other guard to save his life. He didn't want to but it was the only way to fix some of their mistakes of the evening. Hope she will see his point of view. Issac was the only one looking at the big picture. I like Serif just not so much after this episode.

I'm actually loving the development. The only thing I didn't like was the disrespect towards Isaac, atleast what I thought seemed disrespectful. I have the feeling Alex probably let the group in on some sinister things our polite tzimsisce has in the hidden floor to really show how much of a monster he is. But so far, I feel he gets a lot of shit just for having ghouls (which I know can be taboo, but damn Fuego just made a guy kill himself just for trying to do his job) same can be said for Rey and Serif.
