This guy Demers knows what he is talking about Knoblach is sinking this ship.by only playing Mc David, Draisaital and Hyman and not rolling 4 lines that got them to this point and what gave them a 16 game win streak. He's coached this team so well I don't know what he's doing now is mindboggling

they’re not just loading up that line ‘bc things have gotten tough’, it’s bc leon is injured again. they should be playing the 3rd and 4th more, but there’s a different reason 97&29 are together again.

You can’t score when you’re on the bench and feeling like a fuckup. Just roll four lines. Show your players you have confidence in them. Knoblauch talked about the dangers of over-coaching before. He should take his own good advice.

Imagine how ice-cold the goalie is, standing up with no shots - yet goalies are expected to perform anyway , and skaters get the pass.

So funny to hear the difference in how fans and analysts claim that skaters get cold with a lack of ice-time, so that is understandable, but a goalie who is ice cold because you're in the other end all night gets zero leeway when the Oilers D gets lost in coverage or cough up a Foegle - like turnover. Harder to play goaltender cold than it is to play forward.

Play these lines coach or where out Kane McDavid Hyman McLoad Draisaitli Foegele Holloway Nuge Henrique if heathy Janmark Ryan Perry If Henrique isn’t put Perry up to the third and bring in Brown. Grind the crap out of all four lines and we will win if our goaltender can make the first stop. 😮

Oilers are done if they don't start rolling the 4 lines, plain and simple. Also, playing Pickard for a game or 2 is not the end of the world and it would make Skinner very, very hungry.

Subscribe everybody . Im a Canucks fan. Im from here so ... If the Oilers win I will be happy for their fans but I really want the Canucks in the final 4. That goal that Silovs saved was totally across the line btw ....It was an Oilers goal. You can see it cross the line from a different camera angle on a different broadcast . You guys would have won the game and gone on to win the series and ultimately The Cup but instead... You're prolly out Champs ☹

Goaltending wins cups, Canucks goaltender is playing well enough to give them a chance, Edmontons tender isn't, you better pressure your ownwrship to go out and get a number one goalie or you'll never win another cup.

How is vancouver suppose to get offense in if they have to spend 30 mins a night defending against one of the greatest offensive lines in nhl history, Edmonton running 4 lines would be disastrous vancouver would just expose them like they did in the season.

Not a Canucks or an Oilers fan, but the Canucks are a complete team and the Oilers are an incomplete one. Top-heavy offensive teams with suspect defense is just setting your goalie up for failure. Now when you start Pickard, you will have the same problem - you will make it as difficult as possible on the goalie, and you will lose the series. New and improved defense? No- you only improved against mediocre teams in the regular season, and weak playoff teams, not an elite team in a playoff series...Smoke and Mirrors...if you understand losing the rhythm for forwards due to not playing enough, you should also understand that goalies who are ice-cold due to long stretches in the other end, and then you cough up a defensive turnovers like Foegle on the 2nd goal, or McDavid and Ekholm losing their coverage on 3rd goal, then bad things happen. Stop blaming the goalie and get a clue how to play a structured game.
