Jason Shaw and Chris Melling attempt to break the speed break record for this day in Las Vegas. I return the next day to try to beat Jason Shaws speed break record. #JasonShaw #pool #Billiards

I would've loved to see Jimmy White in his prime try this, he had cue power and a really good break shot for a snooker player.

We Had Mike Dechaine in our BreakRAK Booth & he hit 3 shots in a row over 34 MPH, the Cue Ball stayed on the Pool Table . The shot was measured with the BreakRAK Break Speed Radar.... Hi Jerrod Frideres

I was actually thinking that Mike Dechaine would be perfect for this. I remember hearing stories about the cue ball flying high on the break. Thanks for sharing the story. Jerrod

Any video of that break? I recorded him at 33 mph but flew high and away from the table lol
@Rubster760Ай бұрын
@@Busters-FNF I’ve seen several different older videos on the internet of Mike Dechaine breaking.
@sdickinson52342 ай бұрын
The cue ball is below the top surface of the rail, so you are always going to be hitting at a downward angle at the cue ball, causing it to jump. They should move the cue ball all the way forward as far as possible so they can get the flattest cue angle possible to minimize the jump effect allowing a harder hit without flying off the table.

Predator has an app that uses sound to determine the speed at which you break. My father miscued and the ball jumped the table and hit the concrete wall. It registered at 67mph. Haven’t beaten it yet. Lol

I wouldn’t bet against a FastFrank that’s for sure, I bet you would 😁. The cue ball is normal. That machine is recording the speed not the impact. It really doesn’t matter what it’s hitting. Thanks for commenting Frank. 😀👍
