I have a half Lab/Pit that ate a bunch of fungus inside a rotting log, he walked inside glassy eyed and fell over onto his side breathing very shallow and rapidly. 3 days and $3,000 later we brought him home and sense then he has been super sweet and thankful for everything. I think he knew what almost happened. This happened when he was 4 and at 17 he is still with me and still loving life.

I always thought there was something special about Bruce's eyes. He's got a different "look" than your average dog.....and this comes thru on camera. Its probably even better in person..... Definitely something unique and special about him ... at least I think so.... Glad he is doing well...

My bulldog got heat stroke 2 years ago could not breathe, passed out his tongue all purple we rushed him to emergency room doctors gave him 20% chance of surviving… he is 5 now, it has changed him forever

We have a Cane Corso “rescue dog” about 6 years old. We got her through “Big Dogs Huge Paws,” a great organization. When she came into our family she was terrified of everybody and everything, obviously has been deeply traumatized. We have never had a dog so loving, sweet and appreciative of EVERYTHING. She seems deeply aware and appreciative of every bit of love, warmth and kindness she receives. I have never had such a deep connection with a dog. Our dog sitter who comes to stay when we are out of town says, “I love staying with Luna; she always calms me down and makes me feel so much better.” Thank you both, as well as Bruce Wayne and Joey Justice, for helping us learn more and more about this incredible breed. They are indeed precious and unique; beings from another spectrum.

Yes, my dog Sophie (rescue, boxer mix) went through a bad reaction to the distemper/leptosporosis vaccine. She literally went into anaphylaxis in my car. I was still at the vet, and ran to get a vet tech. They threw he over their shoulder and ran her back inside, while she lost control of her bodily functions and threw up. It was the scariest thing to witness. They administered a huge dose of antihistamine. And she ended up being okay and lived to be almost 12 yrs old, which is pretty old for a boxer. She was also a staff favorite there - I think because she knew they loved her and took good care of her too. ❤ So glad that Bruce Wayne is ok! 💜 And that you all have such special bonds

Tank actually was diagnosed with hypothyroid. He had been so lethargic and growly with the other 2 dogs, his heart rate was 76, he'd been losing hair, had no desire to play or go for walks, and really couldn't do much. I thought he wasn't going to last much longer. But, Since getting allot of tests done and discovering his issue and getting him on medications, he's changed as well. He's more huggy, kissy, playful, snuggly, everything is different. He doesn't want me to go anywhere without him. His attitude towards my other make is more loving and tolerant. It's crazy!

Not near death but dog had vomiting episodes, took him to a weekend vet had 2 trips. 2nd because he vomited up the anti nausea pill. They x-rayed him for a blockage, clear. But after the 2nd trip he was more responsive/attentive to me for a few days. But it's gone back to normal. He's not as well behaved as Bruce. But he spends nearly 24/7 with me. XL Bully

This was my chow mastiff he had been slowly dying from health issues. Before he enjoyed being alone and not touched. Now he wants to be with me and be with my shepherd every second

Not a near death experience but I think my rescue CC knew he was home once he walked into my place. When the rescue found him, he had Cherry eye, weighed about 70 pounds and had been a stray for a month or so. Maybe even longer. Deathly afraid of cars, sudden movements. You could tell he had been abused. 😢 Once I brought him into my home, he never left my side. Even though he was fearful, the way he “jumped” and slid down to just rest his upper body into my lap, tail wagging, showed me all I needed to know. Nearly two months later and you can see his confidence growing too. So proud of him.

I am so elated that Bruce didn't die. I would have looked into suing Advantix. How many other dogs went through this and they are no longer here? I am so glad that Kara figured out that it was the flea and tick medicine.

Mr. and Mrs Corey, I truly don't say a lot on here. This is truly my very first post to all your videos, and I have truly liked every single one of them. I have truly shared them to my wife as well. I'm a retired Marine with 25 years of service. My very first dog, was an Australian Shepherd, which I truly had several. I must say in fairness. This breed is my absolute favorite. My last dog I had was a German Shepherd, and hid name was Rex. He was a retired Military Police Dog. The MP that had him died in Afghanistan. They ended up giving Rex to me. I don't know if God wanted that to happen or not. I never was an MP in the Marine Corps. Nevertheless, I ended up getting Rex. When I retired from the Marine Corps in 2014. Out of Camp Pendleton, California. At my retirement ceremony. They retired Rex when I did. They had a special surprise for me. Which I didn't expect them to do this for me. They actually turned Rex into a Service Dog for me. They sent Rex to Florida to turn him into a Service Dog, and I went there as well, so we could bond together even more. I kept Rex until he got old until he passed away. I just want to say thank you to you both for everything you share to everyone on KZfaq. There's some KZfaq channels out there that talks about you shouldn't own a Cane Corso, because they attack people, but you and your wife explain everything in detail. How to train your Cane Corso, and you go through everything, and I mean everything. What it takes to own a Cane Corso. My wife and I have a family. Although, we don't have any other pets in the family. However, we do have a child. I love the fact this breed is protective of its family. I'm all about my family. As a Marine, I am big into my family. I have a loving and supportive wife and we're blessed with a beautiful daughter. When I was with the teams, my wife was very understanding of me, and the job that I did in the Marine Corps. Our daughter, has been constantly telling us she wants a dog that will protect her. This breed is perfect for her. It's also perfect for my wife as well. Again, I can't thank you all enough for the Intel that you all have shared with everyone on here. God bless you both. My cane Corso Mr Pho almost died once & I guess he did change a little bit but Mr Pho has always been the best trained animal I’ve ever had , walk through Home Depot no lease San Manuel casino no lease just the absolute best animal I’ve ever owed he recently passed at age 13 & I’ve missed him everyday everyone that ever met him was always in awe how he listed completely

Last year my 1 year old pup suddenly got so lethargic and started shaking, I was studying in another city and was away for couple of months and when I came back for New Year holiday i saw her so sick and just hugged her and took her to doctors. She was admitted to hospital and we had to stay there for a week and she wouldn't eat for her life and was just alive by injections and IV treatments twice a day. At some point I had a big argument with her doctor and told him the injections are making her feel sick that is why she wouldn't eat and he said to me if you cut the medicine and she dies it's on me. But after a day without medicine she started to eat again and in the second day it was like she wasn't even sick😢 just a reminder to never let your super curious dog eat or lick what ever she sees.

My wife and I help multiple dig rescues with hospice furkids. What you are saying is absolutely true. And in our several cases, they get better, with love and tlc and talk about tye extra bond towards us is exponential.

My dog got pyometra at age 11- which can kill a dog very quickly. We lost our rottweilerthe same way. She had to have emergency surgery. She's never been a fan of the vet, but she's extra anxious when initially arriving at the vet now. On the flip side: she's happy and healthy now, and she's going to be 14 this October. Still spins like a top when asked if she wants to go in the truck. 😅

My dog almost died. He was in the hospital for 4 days and the vet did not know what was wrong with him. He was skin and bones. Thank God a nurse called me and asked if they could start him on an anti-fungal medication. I said, Yes ! I wanted to try anything. And to everyone’s surprise but the nurse he had a misdiagnosed and he had a fungus. Maybe valley fever but they couldn’t confirm. That was 5 years ago and he is 9 years old today He is much more bonded to me. There was a shift but I can’t explain it. I don’t if it’s gratitude, but some type of knowing he has now.

My corso had parvo at 16 months, for 3 days severe blood from both ends, seeing the blood in the snow he was so scared but im very experienced with herbal medicine so i spent two days getting him back to health, he knows i have his back no matter what now, as soon as he started feeling better he was so happy and affectionate, our bond has definitely changed since then ❤ glad Bruce is healthy again

My Bernese Mountain dog, he was just under a year old. We noticed something very wrong. He was in extreme pain, crying out loud, he would go outside and make death beds hiding under bushes. It was terrible. Turned out he had meningitis. Once treated he was the best dog anyone could ever have. Sadly we lost him at 7, which is a normal life expectancy for their breed. But we were so grateful for his love and how amazing of a dog he was. He started his life so sick and then was literally our best friend for his whole life.

My big boy Anubis is a 3 year old Corso (who I got partly because of watching your amazing channel, seeing Bruce, AND convincing my husband) I'm tearing up right now at even thought of losing him. He's an amazing dog and my best friend. We just found out recently that the breeder we got him from died unexpectedly. My Corso that just turned 7 years old very suddenly developed white whiskers/muzzle hairs near his nose. It was like he all of a sudden aged 4 extra years. I saw your video that jogged my memory that 3 months earlier I'd given him an oral flea & tick med, Bravecto. It was against my better judgment. But in the vet's office I was re-assured by both the vet & another customer standing in the office (who said how wonderfully it'd worked on her dog). Now after months of putting my Corso on my own natural therapies, his white hairs are actually reversing, and are now close to their pre-Bravecto level. Keep producing great videos👍

My pug almost died from Lyme vaccine. She is also a rescue and almost died as a puppy due to the circumstances she was in. She is the most grateful acting dog. I have always pointed this out. Her whole being is to please me it seems.

Hey Jason, when mine was still young, about a year old, he choked on his food. I rammed my hand down his throat and pulled out anything I could grab hold of. He stopped breathing, tongue blue. I pumped his chest hard, probably cracked ribs. He had passed but I kept going. He came back. Dazed and confused. Then he went straight back to his bowl and started scoffing his food down.

It could have been an allergic reaction to the flea and tick medicine and I am human and I had a severe allergic reaction to a human medication and I almost died also. 😢.
