Welcome to Indonesia! The island of Java is a cultural highlight full of history, bustling streets, good food and traditions. We fly from Jakarta to the cultural heart of Yogyakarta and visit the palace of the Sultan called Kraton, Taman Sari, Malioboro Street and more. We also take family trips to the countryside and the temples of Borobudur and Prambanan. One is the largest Buddhist temple in the world, the other the most beautiful and oldest Hindu. Characteristic facts for the mix of cultures that Java is rich!
We are visiting Indonesia during a one year world tour and maybe we will even continue to travel indefinitely. On New Year's Day we started in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, the Canary Islands. Then you saw us in Oman, Cape Verde, Martinique, Saint Lucia, Tobago, Grenada, Bahamas, United States, Mexico, Ecuador, Galapagos Islands, Brazil, Qatar and Thailand. Indonesia is already our seventeenth destination. Follow us on this world trip, first in Java, the rest of Indonesia and then to many more beautiful destinations! We also cross to Oceania and Africa! Yes, that’s true. We did not really want to visit Jakarta with a small kid, but normally we would travel around more by train also. Now everything was close to the hotels. 😁👍🏻

Hi Noeline, thanks for enjoying the video and reaching out. In most Asian countries they have the app called GRAB. It’s like Über but the best thing is, you don’t have to pay with credit card. You can also pay cash. The hotel can use the app for you too. It’s very common on Java to ask the hotel to get you one. Happy travels!

When you cannot survive by your own abilities, you explode to other less arrogant, less obnoxious, less money islands of sumatra, borneo, sulawesi... This is the japanese flag drawing you cannot identify... java as center, your own self (individually and grouped together, is the issue...). Blame who.? Purpose of blame.? Objective of blame.? To tell others you are the culprit with ... .... character, personality, mentality, religion, attitude, hypocrisy, ... blame works the other way...

borobudur is a jain temple as jain idols are clearly seen in vedio. In entire world thousands of jain temples are converted into budhha temples, hindu temples and in mosque. very sad and ugly truth .......
