Thanks, very helpful! I've seen in other tutorials that people enlarge or upscale their image first, so MJ has a bigger image to work with. Have you tried that, and has it made a difference? Also, have you tried other cartoon/comic styles? And have you used this method in V5?

I am going to try and replace "multiple poses and expressions" with the pose or expression I need and just keep the seed number the same. I wonder if it will get consistent results.

I just discovered adding another generic image reference describing an action, like running, or sleeping, in front of all the other images, will dramatically improve the character pose, without losing consistency (more or less). The generic reference does not have to even match anything about the original character. I used a man/woman running sheet I found on Google. As long as it was plain, and had silhouettes describing the action, it triggers Midjourney to adhere closer to that action.
