Javier is my favorite Tier 1 CO, because he's like Von Bolt but not boring. Unfortunately, most maps I get a Tier 1 match on have either four or zero comtowers, so I rarely get to play with him.

As a brazilian, Id say Javier is based on Spain alone, mostly because his name is written and spoken in spanish style, not portguese, which is our language down here, but I could be wrong

Actually, it is based on a Spanish Novel named Don Quixote, which is a critique on the romanisation of chivalry as a concept, which up to the 14th/16th century had been highly romanticised, with one of the most infamous exploits being to charge Windmills as if they were beasts to slay, which is directly referenced in Javier's attitude and strong desire to seize com towers. I haven't actually read it, but simply sarcastic has done a break by break readthrough of that book. Pretty important book given how noble centric European society was at the time, even in comparison to today.

I did notice at 19:31, if you attacked the north 10hp infantry first with the 2 tanks and killed the 1hp infantry with a third tank, your 6hp infantry would have been able to hit the infantry capping the com tower and you would have kept it I know this is a live game but thought it was worth pointing out

Day 21, you could have delayed the com tower cap by a turn by taking out the 1 HP infantry with a tank, and then using your own 6 HP infantry to injure the capturing one. Not sure how much that would have influenced the final result, and in the end that's just live play jitters, I'm sure.

1:57 it sounds like you said "Nibenay" and if that's true then the name is a reference to Elder Scrolls, specifically Elder Scrolls IV. Nibenay is an area of Cyrodiil with lots of small lakes not unlike this map

I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but the replay viewer blurs different units and their health depending on where the cursor is located. Really annoying and distracting. Idk if it's just the way the video was compressed, but the board and co portraits look more crusty than usual. Hope I'm not the only one to notice.

Mangs, your 6 hp infantry (see kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mZqYqa5ezNSokZs.htmlsi=G7JcDyZSzIRUC_Qs&t=1158) on the mountain would have been able to damage javier's infantry down to 9hp if you used one of your tanks to kill his 1hp infantry on the mountain. that might have given you more time to deal with his com tower

AWBW in general could need for a real rebalance of all CO's to have at max 2 tiers, I got sick of kindle and von bolt so much I only play on tinywars now. It just got old and boring.
