It matters little how we see it individually, it certainly is a new territory in design and boat engineering....I’m sure it contains quite some innovations, either in terms of construction, or plain operation or sailing....quite a feat!

It looks like they accidentally threw out the sailboat, and kept the box it came in.

Think about the design what you want but the technology on this boat is amazing: the masts are freestanding and rotating....and loads that those huge sails generate must be enormous. Definite unique invert aspect.

Impressive. I have seen this yacht twice. Once at the southern coast of Spain 2018 and once in the Caribbean 2019. Film can't do it justice. It is sleek and yet menacing. I like it.

That vessel is a complete utter design disaster...can not believe it was given thenod to lay keel. .brutal design....my favorite sailing vessel is the schooner Bluenose....can not be surpassed in design and performance.

I saw it in Cartagena, docked on that spot. NO WAY to get near it. You have to enter the shipyard and that is, of course, restricted area. The only way to admire it was from the opposite side of the bay. Very impressive indeed, even from a distance.

I want someone to interview the owner to see what his thought process was in order to go from a yacht that looked like a submarine, to a yacht that looks like a giant floating wedge of cheese.

That is with big distance to all other sailing ships the ugliest ship on this planet. Do not use drugs kids, that is one of the results if you do it. The perfect example for wasting natural resource.

it look superb it as a Chinese emperor look to it. the boat reminds me of ancient Chinese boat and the mast make me think of the Sword used back then. it would fit well in a James Bond movie. I wish we could see the interior if it reflect the the modern of the outside.

such a break taking sight seeing this behemoth glide through the water but with no windows...how do you enjoy the sea views ?

Imagine having millions and millions and spending them on a floating oversized fruitbasket with windturbines on it.

I saw this thing yesterday, moored in the gulf of Trieste, and didn't even know what it was; surely such a monster can't go unnoticed and I immediately thought "what the f**k is that?"; even if it was in the distance you could see the enormous, unusual and, I would say, out of scale dimension of this vessel. Now, I surely prize the absolute original and futuristic design and whatsoever but, I can honestly say that it triggered in me strange, rather unpleasant emotions; I found this thing spooky, bulky, disquieting and even ghostly. Let me point out that I didn't know it was a private yacht owned by the Russian tycoon (and I couldn't care less), but my first thought was that it might be some sort of prototype, probably military, given the weird shape and size, lack of windows and no colours. Nevertheless, I'm glad I had the chance to see this monstrosity.

I would not deign to call anyone's yacht ugly but I will say that it is less ugly from the side than from head on. I will bet that once onside, you would not find a single thing to call ugly. I bet that with the bow thrusters and the stern thrusters and the lookouts on those little platforms near the bow, not counting all the other lookouts that you don't see and the television monitors, I bet that I could dock that bad boy without any practice.

Didn't realize this yatch was so huge and people dont understand it's a work of art and you should see it with the sales up and the sunset hitting them,but only a mad man like me can understand that seeing this yatch in person it looks lik a UFO

I want to see the sails up. I like the shape and lines. It must be amazing to be under way in this ship. I wish I could take my family on this ship or the Maltese falcon .
