Watching Georgia Win the National Title (UGA Beats Bama)!

It all started four years ago - this same group of friends and family watching the biggest Georgia football games together here in Athens, Georgia. The Rose Bowl in 2018 proved to be a monumental victory for the Dawgs. However, they came up short versus Alabama in the national championship game.
Fast forward to 2021 and UGA had one of the most dominant teams in college football. They vanquished the Michigan Wolverines in the Orange Bowl and setup another meeting versus the Crimson Tide for the national title.
Unlike 2018 - 2022 went to Georgia as a furious fourth quarter comeback and a legendary pick 6 by Kelee Ringo sealed the victory.
You'll get to live all of the emotions through our eyes of Georgia ending their 41 year championship drought.

I was 16 when Georgia first won the national championship. A lot has happened since. Many Georgians have passed on. I was blessed to be alive for two championship victories. Saw this lying down. Tears ran down both sides of my Georgian face. Thank you, Jesus!

Congrats Georgia faithful! What a beautiful video and family! Almost nothing else can bring people together like football and man you love to see it. Unfortunately, I am a Bama fan and boy do I hate Georgia, but in the end its all love and respect. How can you not respect and be in awe of what Coach Saban and the players have built. We’ll definitely enjoy this - it has made a lot of people I care about very happy. I just felt all the emotions again watching this. I didn't have but one other Georgia fan to cheer with at the bar here in Arizona. But we were the loudest two people in the bar! I didn't have an easy breath until Kelee hit the end zone! GO DAWGS!

2 months later I sit here crying because it’s what uga football had been trying to do for years that first game I knew something was different about the team and what a way to complete the years of championship drought with the Atlanta braves winning the World Series and the Georgia bulldogs bringing home the national championship

The last time the Bulldawgs won the National Title Championship was in 1980! I was 16 years old then, I jumped up and down with my dad on that day... fast forward to Monday January 10th 2022... I will be 57 this year. I jumped up and down even more, but this time I cried!! Tears of JOY, Tears of so much happiness!! I am soooooo soooooo proud of the DAWGS!! Win , Lose or Draw, I am a DAWG for life!! Winning felt so good. A great team!! A great Game,,, and It feels Great to Be A Georgia BullDawg!

Scott, I've got to say... I've watched this video at least a dozen time now, and I get emotional every time. I'm 34 and watched the game with just my dad, who's been waiting four decades for this one. Words can't describe what the Kelee interception felt like. We all felt it, so we all know. I love all the videos like this and seeing the euphoria of my fellow Dawgs. It's been 40+ years in the desert since I was 15 on SSI watching the last Natty. Living in Jacksonville the past 30 years has felt like being a lone Dawg fan at times. And when Bama had the ball with the Dawgs up 26 - 18, I begged them not to let my heart get ripped out again. When Ringo caught that ball I was the lone person up in my house, but felt as if a great weight was lifted off my soul even though I couldn't scream it out. And I can't wait to let it all rip on SSI this weekend in my favorite Dawg places surrounded by "my people." Thanks for the video.

Man I'm 45 years old and I've bled red and black since birth my dad instilled dawgs football in me after the loss 4 years ago he said I'll never live to see it again little did we know he would pass away a year later that win took me back to so many memories at sanford stadium with my dad that wins for him HOW BOUT THEM DAWGS !!! Oh my gosh! I love this! ❤ Fun to have a crowd I know. Just me and the hubs watching. I saw the 1980 championship game, he was raised with Vols folk..but I converted him int our 32 year marriage quite easily! Thanks for sharing your experience 😊

I was actually at the game and even though I had the most awesome time witnessing a historical game such as that one in person, I don't think I had as good a time as the people in that house. This is my favorite game and post game video I have seen. Great job and thanks for sharing it. Go Dawgs!

Awesome vid, y'all. I was a kid when UGA won in 1980, my dad was a Ph. D. student at UGA. He took me with him to campus when I wasn't in elementary school. I played my first video game (space invaders) at the student center. The DAWGS would visit us at Clarke County Elementary School and hang out. This video brings happy tears to my eyes!!!!!

Ha, my wife actually picked 33 for UGA to score, which they did. Funny thing, is that for the Orange Bowl, she correctly picked Michigan would lose and score 11. Need to take her back to Vegas. Go Dawgs!

I am a big Clemson fan since 75 , but this year I am actually glad you beat us this time and have been pulling for the Dawgs since the respect I have since the first game . Way to go Georgia Bulldogs, maybe Clemson can win the next one just like when I was going the school there. The Bulldogs got their championship in 80 and then we did in 81

If you are interested to have for your UGA room I saw in the videos lmk. FYI I'm UGA class of '88 (undergrad), '89 (grad school) and was in the Redcoat band. Was in the stands for Kevin Butler's mile-long FG against Clemson in '84
