Jaws is one of my all-time favourite films and I really love the way you have made a modern style trailer for this classic movie.

My only criticism is that it shows a bit too much but it’s really good , these modern jaws trailers are great x

What's with all the flashing? You're going to give me a fit. Good structure, but I think you're too heavy-handed with the black flashes

Called flutter cuts.. and I agree.. it's designed to build tension.. overuse here though.

Some really good sections here but it's too long. Agree the flashing is overkill and I think you used too much of the shark footage. But you have moments here are that are terrific.

Amazing job! I try to do modernized trailers as well, but people make you make me feel like I suck! I saw that you use Final Cut Pro, right now I am stuck with iMovie, but I plan on purchasing Final Cut Pro pretty soon. I'm assuming it's probably better. One thing I was wondering is, where do you get your music?

I love how you did the trailer and put the conjuring and sinister soundtrack into the trailer but all I gotta say is that if jaws was made today, it would of flopped.

Flopped? What planet are you on? Probably the best movie ever made. I liked the commentary from Quint at the beginning of the trailer set the suspense tone that was the hallmark of the movie. Overall a great effort with a great soundtrack.

Maybe it was a little confusion between "Amity Island" and the "Amityville Horror" similar names. Yes, Murray Hamilton was in both movies!

talking about the flutter cuts. They were overused here. It's the flashing black screen with the choppy audio. Really this trailer needed to be about a minute shorter.

I'm coming at this five years later. I like your work. I think it's missing the key element of the film... the sound. The du-dum was the sound of the shark. For me, it's more important to hear that than see the shark.

This 'modern' trailer makes the movie not only look cheap but not nearly as good as it is. The original was better. You don't need all the loud booms and flash cutting to make it scary.
