I got mine and I was very happy with it. The cover painting is amazing. I want to compare this edition's foreword and the Suntup foreward by Wendy Benchley.

I think my favorite edition is the Suntup AE, iconic dust jacket and amazing materials. The Folio art isn’t bad but I can see why it wasn’t some people’s cup of tea.

I definitely prefer Suntup’s Numbered Edition and Artist Edition, though they are a lot more expensive. The Suntup Numbered Edition is a true masterpiece.

I jumped on this book the day the announced the collection! Finished up my game of thrones collection as well to get that free shipping with 5+ books deal lol but it’s still in transit. The wait is killing me. Awesome book!

It is neat. The overseas shipping does add a little extra anxiety to the book collecting, but at least two of the publishers that I love are in England. That’s just the way it is…

I think Folio did a good job. I have the Suntup AE and typically can’t justify either the funds or shelf space for multiple editions of the same title so I probably won’t pick it up, unfortunately.

Uproar from USA fans about the exchange rate Folio is charging. Then there's also the shipping rate Sterling has dropped big. But Folio will charge there own. Alot of people backed off Frankenstein.

I don't think the movie surpassed the book. They're different approaches. Ignorant people forget that books and movies are completely different ways of telling a story. The changes they made for the movie worked because they fit into a filmic story telling, but that doesn't mean the book did it wrong. The shark attacks in the book are so much more creepy and graphic, and we see more of the depth of the characters and how the shark not only functions as a villain but also as a representation of human greed and fears. The movie is awesome, but the book haters suck hard.
