Same here I am guy though 300l Lbs lol I need lose some weight I like to be at between 200 - 250 Lbs just touch my toes easier for me 90% muscle hurt my back 2 time so I didn’t the spare tire in the front lol I gained 10LBs a year cause I I had a hard time bending forward to even doing crunches or anything hurt 2008 it’s now 2022 but i’m not gonna give up to lose some weight but I’m doing it for myself because I need to use it for my own health so I can feel better and do stuff and I have more for my kids not because someone else thinks I need to Love the song Man oh man every time I watch this my love for you grows Lol woke up with this song in my head this morning so random I was dreaming about girls and talking to them telling them about issues and ur song took over sing to them lol Single dad I let my kids listen to it so they can here me say ur not fat ur perfect they way u are if ur over weight it’s my job to explain to help you figure out the best way to make you more healthy for others just be happy I mean you’re only kids 12 and 10 too young to worry about bodyweight at there age there not even 100 pounds and I keep My eye on what you eat and how much you eat that’s a parents job not a kids job I love this message you are singing If single marry me lol 😂

As a middle aged man with a teen son, I am so happy that this song is out there for his female friends. The message here is spot on! I hope she continues to put out songs like this with positive messages for our next generation.

Remember that it isn't impossible or even improbable for your son or his male friends to have eating disorders as well. It is estimated that 25% of eating disorder patients are male. Males are a very under-diagnosed population in the eating disorder community because therapists usually focus on a desire to lose weight as opposed to a desire to build muscle (although it's totally possible for males to want to be skinny as well). Beauty standards are so interwoven into society that everyone is affected by them.

This honestly makes me feel so much better having struggled with weight problems all my life trying to skip meals here and there to lose weight but now I've lost 40 pounds or more and i still eat junk food almost everyday my secret now is look for the foods with the most fiber in them and also a little excercise not everyday but maybe once a week along with a standing job!!!

I was a teacher for 30 years and I wish this song had been out there back in the day. A lot of my 8th grade girls suffered from anorexia and bulimia because of the super-skinny look promoted by V. S., Elle, and all the rest of the fashion mags. This song would have made an easy segue into discussions about body image and society's unreasonable expectations. I hope teachers are using it in this way now! --Old Guy

Young men need more messages like this. For every awkward kid that needs to be content with themselves, there are others that will "hold out" for partners that look like what they've seen in media. They'll desire impossible standards from people with lives and careers, hurt other people when they "let themselves go", and get hurt themselves in turn. Why? Because none of those commercials are about to ask why any model would look at them twice. They're never confronted with their own inadequacies. Don't judge other people or yourself for surface-level nonsense, and especially don't try to change yourself to appease someone else's shallowness.

This song makes me feel less insecure about my body and my struggle with my weight for the past few years. Please make sure you're taking your own advice there too sweetie. Cuz you are beautiful no matter your size! Rock that body. Look at people like Lizzo! She's plus size and she rocks that shit! As she should. And as everyone should! I so hope songs like this and others rocking their bodies helps you become more comfortable with in your own skin no matter what that looks like..I'm still trying to take my own advice there too so I totally get it 💜💚 I went from never being over 180 my whole life to now being 280 at 30 years old. I need to get into better shape for my own health but no matter what size that may be..I'm trying to learn to love it.

Me too!! I am 37 now and Victoria's Secret was a big problem with girls and their body image. They still are, but I am actually shocked they have models of all sizes now. I know they didn't do it without a lot of pressure though. They aren't the greatest company. I actually miss Fredrick's of Hollywood stores. They targeted to all sizes. And Aerie I believe is an amazing company as well.
