It's funny how Tiger and Rory were OK with LIV IF they got rid of Greg Norman. Now they have the biggest snake in all of golf, Jay Monahan, in charge in perpetuity. The players need to stand up and say they won't go forward if Jay has anything to do with the thing, but this new group will probably threaten their tournament standings with the sponsors, however many sponsors are left.

Best for LIV to keep their distance from the PGAT. Let it be for a while - until Tiger and Jay retire. There is room for several tours even if the world rankings are felt to not be credible anymore.

Doesn't surprise me at all that Jay is now CEO. He basically was the CEO of the PGAT. His role now as CEO is to strategize the directions of the PGAT with the board and investors, and a CEO position does just that. That is the structure in the new PGAT business and its the same way for many businesses..

Even the Arnold Palmer field is a shadow of what it usually is, plus theres rumours of Rory, Lowry, Fleetwood and Hovland going to LIV as a team for 1.4 billion. Phil nearly let something out during his interview but stopped himself, something big is coming from LIV

SSG money to PGA is from it's PIF. Meaning PGA just sold out to another for profit group.

Looks to me like the PIF is getting kicked to the curb with this current structure of the PGA Tour Enterprises board. Will they be pleased if that turns out to be the case? I think not, not in the slightest. Are they likely to retaliate in some way? I think so. And then, watch out.

Good grief. The players have only themselves to blame for letting this snake continue. Now he's gone and made a new "corporation" that they HAVE to be a part of, but now they have NO POWER. Just because they've got some "reps" in a board, these new players with the $$$ are the real power. And whatever they say goes, meaning Jay gonna get ridiculous salary, just like Roger Goodell in the NFL. And any golfer outside the top 20 or 30 on the PGAT are probably going to be barely scrapping by even worse than before

So these ssg guys who are supposed to be cracker jacks put Jay in charge and want the remaining pga tour players to give them advice. Good luck with anything groundbreaking happening, Unless they copy liv more. These are all the same people who have been making a mess of the pga tour for years now. These remaining guys are mostly the traditionalists whom have proven not to have a view of the future. Which probably is what they should be on the pga tour side. Traditional. But instead they are completely lost between tradition and innovation and between not caring about money and really caring about money. The pga tour over time will probably continue to copy liv even more while continuing throwing away all of its traditions they staunchly argue for. I would not be surprised if teams become the big idea for pga tour enterprises. At the end of the day all ssg is is the pga tour selling a huge chunk of its pie so it can stay afloat competing with LIv. They can’t. They won’t be preventing top players -especially non pga tour golden boys-from jumping ship sooner or later. Even with ssg they cannot keep up with pif. I don’t feel bad for the pga tour because pga tour “enterprises” can just let the LIv players come back-as many other tours are starting to do - and just like that that the Tour would be much improved again; at least in the traditional sense. In many ways Tiger is in charge now. Monahan gets to play with the money, mostly give it to Tiger and the golden boys, and himself and his board, but tiger is running the show now. Tiger needs get the pga tour to comprehend it needs to drop its requirement to 8 events, so half of what it’s been, and let the damn LIv guys back for the damn good of their product.

PGA Tour is going to end up like the NFL and MLB, play a season in one country, with no competition from another country, and call the winner at the end The World Champion of golf. 😂

Jay Monahan shouldn't be a shift manager at a McDonald's.

How is Monahan still employed. What he did is unforgiveable and nothing he says can be trusted. He should be fired, not promoted. Head scratching.

Jay the judas, should not be involved in golf. He's lost the trust of the players, more players will go to liv. The pga will become a feeder tour for liv. The pga day's are numbered. Liv is the new world tour. The pga is the dieing USA tour.

Unless someone who loves golf not money gets rid of Jay and all his greedy friends pga golf will shrink and die 😢. Love your lessons but you need to start picking people who love golf not themselves for your golfing buddies Brandel Chambles needs to be the first to go
