I liked the interview, didn't think it was bad at all. Jay has always been reserved, softly spoken and not particularly chatty....I didn't see awkwardness at all, maybe just a little tiredness. Him and Angie go back far, so their interviews have their own little Jay and Angie vibe to them...

It is very interesting to see the big guys in the business. The way they talk and behave is completely different to the rest. You can truely see that this whole gangster shit is just a show and that the real money is made with common sense and by carefully thinking steps in your life. A real calm man I'm impressed by his presence.

I keep reading comments saying this interview was awkward. 2 very very old friends conversing doesn't make for the best interview, but i think if you have been a fan of Jay and Angie for the last 18 years you may see this interview a bit differently. She still looks good for 40 something too.

I know exactly what u mean and in my opinion it's him TRYING so hard to NOT be like other rappers. He tries to be very gentleman-like, to prompt responses like "he's so grown now", or "he's onto so much bigger and better things that he even speaks different"...which those things are true but I think he puts it on a little TOO much to the point where he's just awkward.
